The US-Russia relations under president Trump’s administration were widely and intensely discussed. In this article, we focus on the subject of relations between the two countries. Russia and Russia-related issues are one of the most important questions for the new administration during first 100 days. The paper comprises of three parts. In the first, methodological part, a systematic FPA (Foreign Policy Analysis) framework will be introduced. In the second part, we focus on Russian foreign policy objectives. In the last and third part, the focus will be on answering following questions: In what ways does the conduct of US foreign policy reflect the declarations introduced by Trump during the campaign? Can we perceive the shift in American foreign policy as beneficial from the Russian perspective?
