Escentric 03 by Escentric Molecules is a Chypre fragrance for women and men. Escentric 03 was launched in 2010. The nose behind this fragrance is Geza Schoen. Top notes are Lime, Ginger and Pepper; middle notes are Tea, Iris and Jasmine; base notes are Vetiver, Virginia Cedar, Leather, Sandalwood and Musk.

Escentric 03 opens with refreshing notes of ginger root, green peppercorn and Mexican lime. A heart is centered around orris surrounded by Egyptian jasmine and soft tea notes. A base is composed of vetiver as key ingredient, sandalwood, cedar, leather and musk.

The fragrance was created by perfumer Geza Schoen as a chypre. It is said to be spicy but fresh with warm balsamic undertones, and sensuous without sweetness.

MeCompany was in charge of packaging, which accompanies the whole story about these mysterious fragrances. The flacons of both editions are simple and made of glass and their outer cartons are coloured in deep, dark green and blue shade. It suggests something dark moving just below the surface of things, something you can’t quite put your finger on. Escentric Molecules Molecule 03 and Escentric 03 are available as 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

A happier, more summer, beachy version of Encre Noire.

Shan101beauty

It smells like E01 but with more a green herbal medicinal touch.

Not_So_Perfumy

It's much better than M03; E03 is a no-go territory.
I actually wish this is scent was mainstream, and worn by everyone, unstead of those Sauvage, Invictus, etc.
I think it's better than Encre Noire & Co in terms of quality; not that they smell that similar though.
Anyway, it's OK, but it's a pass.

Begins with a punch of fresh green, then spice+ginger+lime. After a minute all the notes mix and form a kind of woody spicy 'Asian herbal medicine' scent (in a good way!). Very calming and also unique.

Rediscovering Molecules again. Haven’t smelled them for ages and I must admit that I love it. It’s simple but complex at the same time: fresh grapefruit, nice black pepper, aromatic notes and vetiver. Lovely combo!

I just had to pipe in…what this man said below me! I’m not fancy with my words with my reviews. My iPhone 📱 spells what it wants…im not fake…I’m a librarian so science and math, though they fascinate me, also leave me completely befuddled!! I’m sitting here reading about the molecules etc and all I could think of ?? This is anti minimalism! And then I saw what the man wrote below?? He hit the nail on the head 👇 what he said….

The "Escentric" counterpart to each "Molecule" as a concept leaves me a little cold. They are supposed to consist of the same concentration of the aromachemical featured in the corresponding Molecule, but with other complementary notes included to "enhance" the key note. I'm not convinced that they are complementary pairs, and struggle to see the point of them. The one-note aromachemical schtick of the Molecules is intriguing and ties in with the abstract minimalism theme of this brand, but their Escentric partners simply seem to be an excuse to release more perfumes under a "binary pair" marketing gimmick. However, Escentric 03 is easily the best Escentric I have tried. E01 and E02 both consisted of citrus notes atop the aromachemical in question, and were not even particularly pleasant as perfumes in their own right. But E03 by contrast is a well-rounded chypre. Vetiveryl acetate is the "Molecule" at play here, and it is resembles vetiver closely - much less abstract than the Iso-E-Super and ambroxan of Molecule 01 and 02 respectively. It features prominently in this scent.

E03 has a bright citrus opening, like the aforementioned E01 and E02. In this case, it is zesty lime, tying in nicely with the grapefruit-like quality of the vetiveryl acetate. I get some subtle peppery spice too. There is a herbal tea effect, perhaps due to the listed tea note and the vetiver which permeates this scent.

The vetiver note follows - the focal point of this scent, as it should be. It paves the way nicely to the chypre base, which is characterised here by a suede-like leather note and the aforementioned vetiver. The astringent nature of the vetiver gives a slight sourness as it progresses, and here I can smell the unfortunate dill pickle effect. It becomes increasingly woody and musky as it dries down, with some Iso-E-Super in the base evident as it fades. Sillage and longevity are moderate.

A unisex herbal chypre, E03 is easily the best Escentric I've tried so far, and I don't dislike it, but the pickle accord in its later stages lets it down. There are also myriad better chypres available on the market, but this is a nice exercise in composing a whole perfume around a central aromachemical. Finally, the assignment is completed successfully. 3/5.

It’s so cozy like a warm hug of a loved one ❤️

I can't say I'm getting much of the "freshness" that others describe. It also does not remind me of Encre Noire very much. This is a very vetiver-forward fragrance, and reminds me a lot of Terre d'Hermes which is one of my favorites. This one is less complex and interesting than Terre, though, which makes it a "like" and not quite a "love" for me. Still enjoyable as I love vetiver. No issues with performance for me personally, this stuff is strong and lasts long on my skin. Not a bad buy for less than $50 from discounters if you like this sort of thing, but I recommend upgrading to the superior Terre d'Hermes for a bit more.

Another sample I got in a store. As always, I did not read reviews or investigate the notes before trying the perfume in order to have the first impression based on the first spray. Initially, I was amazed. I did not expect it to be smell so free, green and fresh. It was so uplifting and pleasant and I thought: "What a youthful smell!". I somehow felt like I became younger after smelling it. After a few moments, the smell settled and I could tell it was vetiver that gave that impression. As the time passed, I realised it was just vetiver and nothing else, so I was not that impressed anymore. Basically, amazing first impression that disappeared later. It is a strong smell that will last all day or night, but the initial "fresh" and "youthful" note will transcend into a strong, dark, green and earthy vetiver. Great for vetiver lovers, but I'll skip.

anton_jsk

Way. Way. Way overpriced.
Longevity? Never heard. Scent is lovely, though evaporates like in one hour. However, I use it now as cleaner for toilet seat - and there on surface it sticks better, like for 3-4 hours, and WC smells good.

That's the most proper for this perfume place, since for this price it offers neither projection, nor strength.

JonnyBadass

Masculine. Very green, fresh, and natural smelling. Woody dry down that smells a lot like Encre Noir. But this only lasts a couple hours before becoming a pretty faint skin scent and it doesn’t project much to begin with. Not worth the price in my opinion.

fragmig

For me it smells very, very good! Balanced. Not muscular in the beginning, but might get a little bit muscular later. Mood lifter, sweet and citrus, but not too much. Reminds me of a forest a little bit. It is not too fresh either - there is some freshness, but also something that stays very close to the skin, some creaminess. I like it.

emerson10

That lime ginger vetiver combo smells like a mix of generic men's cologne x pinesol; it's just not working for me -- astringent without being refreshing.

Kinga_

It's fresh and green at first, but the dry-down smells like pickles to me. Definitely not a safe blind-buy.

ajhen

Kinda strangely savoury, South Asian vibe

aczwy

call me quick to judge but i was initially about to roll my eyes and declare this "just another citrus scent" when i first applied it. it definitely appears to be a linear citrus at the opening, but it develops beautifully in the dry down; the ginger gives it the tiniest kick and it becomes quite reminiscent of ginger ale!! i like this a lot

gbrnyzbk

Nuit de megeve ..

Baba O'Shaughnessy

This actually reminds me of the original Spicebomb.
If Spicebomb didn't have cinnamon and tobacco and added stronger Vetiver, this is what it would smell like.
Definitely adding this to my Vetiver collection along with the TF Grey Vetiver and Guerlain.
A nice spicy Vetiver freshie for the upcoming Summer months.

Mr.Verbena

Very synthetic in a hip way, gives a punchy citrusy that feels like GMO lemongrass. Comes and goes throughout the day, I'm not sure how it works, but some people don't notice it at all, and some people can smell you in the next room over. Interesting fragrance, doesn't smell totally green, but more chartreuse... if that makes sense.

goliatrgs

I had M02 and M04 in the past, and I was frustrated. I could only smell the opening for just 2 seconds, and that's it. So I promised myself not to repurchase EM until now; I bought a FB of E03 as an answer to my quest for a green and fresh vetiver for high heat. I already have Creed OV and GIT that I love, and I read some reviews where they prefer E03 over Creeds. I don't know if that is my case, but it is FB worthy for me (considering my previous experience with EM). While in Creed OV is a leafy kind of green vetiver in E03 is earthy vetiver (like Guerlain, grey vetiver or sultan vetiver) but subtle and in the drydown, being the opening very fresh, with a beautiful lime and tea and high quality. Longevity is 8-10 hours as a skin scent and more in cloth. Projection is a mystery for me; this time, I can really smell whiffs of it through the day, but it feels more like a personal bubble. I've never tried it in spring/summer yet, but I think it is the perfect season. Signature worthy.

bleukreuz

Escentric 03 starts with a blast of dry earthy vetiver and lime, then dries down into Mountain Dew / Sprite smell. Fresh and slightly sweet. E03 does not get much love from the community, but you should give this a chance if you like vetiver and lime, especially if you manage to find a good deal (I miraculously managed to score an unopened 100mL for US$50 - must be a mistake in pricing because it was taken off the listing next day 😏 ).

Personally I like it. I wish it lasts longer. It is different enough than Lalique Encre Noire/ Encre Noire Sport (less dark inky vetiver) so I will keep this in my collection.

Wizard Rev Hunt

I had to wait until a really hot day, like today, to think this was a good choice from all the other choices in my fragrance collection.

Lucky Scent promotes the hell out of this brand, they practically have a running commercial endorsement of Escentric Molecules which is somewhat off-putting. Almost every month they have another video about this brand. They go on and on about the fragrance, praising it, bragging about its ingeniousness and the highly intellectual sagaciousness of its creator Geza Schoen.

Yet, I think the very averageness of this line, epitomized in 03, is what makes it so popular, and thus very overly promoted by LS.

What does it smell like? Lime/vetivier/ wood/tea. It is light, bracing, refreshing...yet, somehow, utterly boring, as unremarkable as any shower/bath wash at Target. Nobody wearing this will think of anything other than clean, and the fragrance has an almost invisible, benign, generic quality to it, like a club soda and gin cocktail, or perhaps a beach house with white walls and basket of lemons on a coffee table, good associations, lousy excuses for a perfume.

$145 at Lucky Scent! Are you kidding me? Look online. This brand is discounted everywhere.

I did not pay a lot for this. I bought it for only about $65 on Fragrance.net and I'm glad for my bargain as there is a lot of juice in the bottle and I probably will have it sitting in my medicine cabinet until the year 2041.

Sjess

This was a blind buy for me a few years back, I already had the 01 and 02 at the time. Now I have all 5 Escentrics and this is definitely the runner up in my top 5. First spray took me by surprise, it reminded me so much of a certain type of band aid (not the plastic ones, but the fabric like type) but not in an off-putting way. I love how this combines fresh notes with spiciness, it makes it very versatile to wear pretty much all seasons, the only times I don't like it is when it's either really hot or really cold. It is a casual frag, so perfect for day wear, very office friendly. Longevity, sillage and projection are all very good on me.

cocofluff

- Another light and airy one. I'm really loving Escentric 03 because of the fresh notes. I smell the lime, ginger and tea prominently. Thankfully the tea note doesn't go aquatic. Unisex but leans masculine. Very good one! My favorite of the entire Molecule and Escentric line.

Even though I blind bought Molecule 1. Escentric 03 is actually the only one I would buy after sampling the entire collection. That said, I'm not buying a bottle of this. I'm done with the Molecule perfumes.

MaquiLab

Fresh greenery, a strong alcoholic blast in the beginning. Don't like the drydown... There's something too swamp-like in it.

piyux

Escentric Molecules Escentric 03 EDT opens with a moderate projection of citrus, spicy, and woody notes. The opening is very fresh, slightly sweet, intense, sharp, sour, and very pleasant. The lime and ginger are the most noticeable opening notes, the lime is a sharp, and sour; the ginger is spicy and fresh with a citrusy touch. The combination of these two notes creates a bright and uplifting opening. The vetiver and cedar are base notes but are noticeable almost as soon as the fragrance is applied, they create a very sharp, green, fresh woody note that is fantastic. The tea and sandalwood contributions are modest but noticeable. The rest are support notes, including the leather which in this fragrance is only a projecting accord. The fragrance has some noticeable opening to dry-down changes, the opening favors the lime and its very citrus nature, however, towards the dry-down, the lime subsides to take a second place letting the cedar and vetiver lead the fragrance. Once Escentric Molecules Escentric 03 EDT has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a moderate projection, green (vetiver), woody (cedar), spicy (ginger, pepper), and citrusy (lime) fragrance with some floral and soft leathery accords. The fragrance feels casual, diurnal, elegant, energizing, exquisite, fine, fragrant, fresh, green, intense, inviting, masculine, modern, natural, nicely-blended, playful, refreshing, sharp, sour, sporty, slightly sweet, unique, versatile, wild, woody, zesty, and very pleasant.

Vitriol08

This is so good.
Been sampling this one heavily over the last months and now getting a bottle.
It is one of these scents that opens weird but turns into this deeply addictive scent.
Super long lasting.
Reminds me a lot of Red Vetiver and Terre d Hermes but a bit deeper, darker.
Amazing!
I now get the hype of Escentric M!

SocialAssassin

Very rare the "This perfume reminds me of" section is accurate, but it is correct here. In short, this is a more affordable variation of Jayne's Zizan. The Jayne is a bit more refined with a more pronounced bay leaf note, but it is seriously difficult to shell out that kind of money for a freshie thats practically the same scent. Not surprised its the same perfumer as well. Save yourself some money and grab this one instead.

Ravageur_uk

Pleasant skin scent but projection and longevity are both weak on me. Pass.

Q_Dhini

Now i know where Givenchy Gentleman Cologne got its inspiration from...
Only this lasts a lot longer and is a bit more refined.
Superb fragrance imo...

Kostas54

I am thrilled with this, really! A fantastic fresh, green scent, so gentle, attractive and addictive with amazing staying power, especially on clothes. It has a spicy, fresh opening which is very refreshing, but the hype lies in the drydown when it becomes creamy, almost balsamic, enveloping you with a darker but very soothing woody bubble. I got compliments the very first day I used it! 10/10

Greggers

Better than Molecule 03, but not by much.

PastelMoon

Gorgeous clean vetiver with a great lasting power. My favourite from these series. It has a herbal and woody aspect and some clean citrus. Very versatile.

zhiang0113

A dank vetiver accented by dry, but still piquant ginger and pepper. Reminds me of dark corners of cupboards left unopened for long times.

But wait - after 15 minutes, a hint of clear florals appears around the corner to sweeten things up. It becomes less musty, and veers into Encre Noire Sport territory.

Interesting fragrance.

Andy the Frenchy

Good citrus-ginger fragrance, with a woody base. The vetiver is here just a subtle supporting note. Not groundbreaking, but will get it if I can find a good deal. My 2nd favourite of thus line after Escentric02. Probably the most masculine of this brand.
Like @Cassiano said in a previous comment, layer it with Molecule03, and this one becomes a great fragrance in the earthy vetiver category.

Edit: I now got it (for a great deal), and quite confirm my initial thoughts: tea is the main player to my nose, supported by a citrusy ginger, and florals (jasmine, but I also get a noticeable neroli). A nice leather note appears in the background. The grassy/bitter vetiver will appear later in the drydown together with a soapy musk and other woody notes. Projection seems weak at the opening, but will improved shortly after to become moderate. Overall remotely reminded me of Cartier Declaration Essence.
Not quintessential, but still, very nice, fresh and uplifting. The perfect fragrance for hot summer days, that allows for some originality compared to the usual citrus frags.

I smelled this scent so many times, and every time it drew me crazy. It's absolutely best vetiver based scent. At some point I found it in an airport, and for a year I kept finding it over and over and just sprayed it on every time... Next day in the morning I was craving a bit of smell from the ear pods, the collars, things it might touched. I started missing the smell, while ofc I have dozen other cool scents. But nothing smells so good...

THIS SCENT IS A CONFIDENCE BOOST FOR ME

So, I ended up ordering a 100ml bottle and I'm quite happy now. I don't care what other people think about it, I bought it for myself, it gives me a sense of happiness.

The other vetiver scent that I would recommend is Creed Original Vetiver (actually it's quite a close one to EM E03). I would buy this over the Creed, and also over other Creed scents, such as the Aventus, Tweed or others.

tayyabforyouth

This is mainly vetiver and cedarwood. But projection and longevity are both on the lighter side. It's really nothing to write home about.

Can't find a vetiver that smells good on me, I wanted this to be the one but it just isn't that great.

Cassiano

Escentric 03 was launched in 2010, along with its pair (and theme fragrance) Molecule 03. Again, the fragrances were worked on a particular synthetic molecule already used in perfumery. This time, Vetiveryl Acetate was used, which gives the smell of vetiver.

In the review I wrote for Molecule 03, I tackled the ingredient a bit more. In this analysis, I will keep the focus on the fragrance, which was built to pay homage to the three roots most used in commercial perfumery: vetiver, ginger, and iris (orris root).

Escentric 03 has notes of ginger, green pepper and Mexican lemon peel on top. Then, the heart reveals notes of Egyptian jasmine, iris and tea, which rest on a denser and woody base made of vetiver (depicted through the theme molecule), sandalwood, cedar, musk and balsams.
On the skin, Escentric 03 does not disappoint! It is classified as a chypre, because of its fresh and warm contrasts. It manages to combine a classic side of older colognes with the freshness of floral fragrances from the last years. The output is vibrant and pleases fans of citrus scents. The body appears more neutral or better, unisex, and brings a green jasmine, with the light and soothing touch of tea. It is in this moment of evolution that the fragrance shows its most relaxing style. Finally, the base brings a rustic and slightly leathery side.

Escentric 03 looks like a tea made with lemon peels and some ginger slices boiled in the water and left infused with leather chips and powdered woods. I may be mistaken, but the one responsible for that leather smell seems to me to be the Tolu Balsam.
Is it an innovative fragrance? No. Is it complete in all respects? No.
Particularly, I miss the vetiver molecule more present and this sensation forces me to make use of a layering process with the fragrance of Molecule 03, every time I want to have that effect in a more lasting way. Still, Escentric 03 left me with a satisfying and full of contradiction sensation, by bringing a synthetic perfume, in theory, but capable of imparting quite natural nuances, in practice.

To finish, I repeat what I said in previous reviews: if you do not know the fragrances of the brand and have curiosity, I suggest to always start with the ones named Escentric.

Frangipanilove

OK. I don't like it. No much how I WANT to like it and love the concept I got this blind, somewhat by accident, not having tested it before. I tested, a couple of times. Its not for me. Its simply too masculine. I have a body chemistry that tends to work very well with heavy, sweet scents that kind of mellow out on me to something lovely and warm. This is too sharp, too crisp. And yes I DO like citrusy and green scents, too, just not this one. Too much men's cologne on me. Anybody want to trade an almost full 100ml bottle?

Cortina1981

I like it a lot!Wear it in any ocassion,it's light, fresh, summer scent...I like the opening, the drydown...longevity and projection are great on my skin,i can smell it very long time...yes,it is kind of artificial, but so what?Love the way it smells, and it is one of my most used scents in rotation...No disonant tones, pretty safe that lots of people will like it...

rjf

Love the packaging. The sweet spice and old funk, not so much.

Michelle12345678

I like this. It reminds me of curry. Lime, ginger, vetiver, pepper. Light.

marko.refael

This is like lemon cut in half and left on a hot weather dry and out of life the scent is synthetic weak and after 30 minutes becomes pure iso e weak bad and synthetic.......sorry.

strut

To me this smells like green parfume that gone bad. Lots of plastic and rubber with green notes and tea. Something very synthetic and industrial, like some kind of packaging. It’s more scent for a new tv from a box.

sharon.ramsey.900

First spray, hated it but gave it time to settle, nice skin scent drydown but not enough of a hit to project from my arm so sprayed a second blast and it has grown on me. I detect a likeness to Paul Emilien " Pure Addiction" which is a stronger version of this. I will consider a bottle indeed.

pauroj

it took me a while to get my hands on this one , but so glad i waited i love it perfect unisex perfume .

i love it and honestly the bottle is huge , so perfect.

Q80

leather lime and ginger vetiver.

Leather sweet lime, ginger, sandalwood, and vetiver. it has musk and huge doses of tea. Iris, cedar, & black pepper are there as well.

Not a WOW creation after all but it's acceptable.

rswooley

I don't get the hype for this line at all. While most scents go sugary-sweet on me, Escentric 03 smells like tires with a hint of kaffir lime leaf and celery seed.

MEOWITSTERRA

This one reminded me a lot of Molecule 01, but more sharp and grapefruit intensive. A beautiful, bitter citrus scent.

StellaDiverFlynn

The opening of Escentric 03 is such an invigorating delight, bursting fizzy, spicy ginger and tart, aromatic lime at the outset. Sadly, from 1 hour onwards, this energising opening phase shrinks into an abstract, gently sweet musky woody scent. There's vaguely something aseptic and some smoky notes hidden in the background, which may come from Iso E Super and the leather-tea accord respectively.

The dry down is essentially a virile, musky, velvety cedar-sandalwood woody dry down, and I hardly pick out any earthy vetiver throughout its development. The sillage is soft, and the longevity might reach 11 hours.

I very much enjoyed the uplifting, tasty citrus ginger candy opening phase of Escentric 03, but the bland dry down left me utterly cold. Moreover, I didn't manage to perceive any form of the grassy, earthy, woody vetiver in it, which is not very encouraging as well. Escentric 03 may work very well as an abstract, fresh citrus woody fragrance, it just happens not to be my cup of tea.

milkyway

@spacecreature - I personally dont think it smells anything like coca cola. On me it is a cloying sticky WD-40 type of smell..so there, try before you buy.

Also, how are you expected to buy a perfume without knowing how it smells?..shady..You should probably ask the place that sells it to at least give you a sample.

spacecreature

Does this really remind you in any way of coca cola or was heybritney confused when she wrote that? The place that sells it where I live doesn't have a tester for it, and I have always wanted a coca cola -like smell so was just curious if others had a similar experience with this:)

pauroj

from the three escentric molecules this is my favorite and i wish i had bought this one instead of escentric 01.

is fresh and sharp like a male cologne at the very begining it reminds me of jo malone black vetyver but a bit more fresh in the sense that i smell the earthiness of the vetyver but still there is something fresh on top of it , not citric but fresh, no ozonic either , just nice
then after some minutes i smell smokiness clean smoke expensive smoke ,lovely , omg this is good.
and then just a lovely skin scent , this is what i thought escentric 01 would be but no , well next time i will buy this one .

ninakix.

Ok, I'm just going to say it: this scent reminds me of Coca Cola made with real sugar (not HFCS) with a touch of lime. And it's the best.

lollsazz

EDIT: *sigh* now I love this - it's just so complicated and has a lovely, soft dry-down. I still get a lot of zest at first, but it does go away - better just keep it far away from my nose for the first few minutes (right after spraying, this is quite intense. Some people say this is excellent for males, but I definitely don't feel male wearing this, and this dries down feminine on me
END OF UPDATE

At first I don't smell lime, actually, but lemon tree leaves. It's a bitter, lemony smell. This is only a top note though, and, unfortunately, becomes weak quite fast, but definitely does not disapper

From the first moment I also smell the vetiver (woodsy, earthy, smoky), which lingers all the way through the wear-time of this. The sandal wood and pine might be mixed into this vetiver-smell, as I can't really smell them apart in the mix. It's this middle phase I find the most beautiful! There's also something milky - I think it's the iris and pepper beginning to get through

When this fully settles, it begins to smell a bit like Chance eau Tendre by Chanel, to me. It's a powdery, iris-y, slightly sweet smell, but quite much more complex

Luckily, I don't smell any cellery in this, which I definitely get a lot of in Escentric 01 - if you dislike cellery, that one is not your friend.

All-in-all, this is an interesting perfume because it has so many layers, and the smell is unusual, fresh, woodsy, smoky (like burning wood), pencil-sharpnings-y, slightly flowery, and definitely a perfume everyone will be able to smell, unlike Molecule 01 and 02. If you have tried Molecule 03, this is quite like that one, but a bit fancier and more complex. If Molecule 03 is a guy living in a tent out in the woods (mind you, Molecule 03 is no stinky, dirty loner), this is the same guy after showering, putting on some perfume, shaving... but putting some of his forest-smelling clothes back on again.

I like this, but I don't love it. I definitely DO see why many love it though - it's complex, original, well made. I don't think I will purchase this because of one thing: it smells a little sharp-zesty on me (I'm a girl, and it feels like the zest sticks to the inside on my nose and burns a little). Molecule 03 doesn't have this zesty quality - it's just a simple smoky forest.

Yes , lime and CELERY!! I'll give it a full wearing tomorrow and report back but that is pretty much what I get.

Middle notes smell like celery!

Unsure about this one. The first few moments are astringent. The jury is still out....

Excellent fragrance for male! Light citrusy, vetyvery, woody and really refined, very well balanced. Remind me little bit Chanel Allure edition blanche and Cologne Noire by Van Cleef&Arpels

Light and refreshing that in a small way reminds me of the cedar boxes I used to buy at Colonial Williamsburg when I was young. I loved their woody freshness. This fragrance echos their smell and adds its' own exotic swirls of scent that make it really wonderful!

Originally looking to try Molecule 01, I ended up spraying this on my arm as the description of the notes appealed to what I was in the mood for. It starts off quite zesty-sour on my skin and after some minutes begins to turn into a softer version of the great Guerlain Mitsouko. This made me want to snap up the bottle then and there as Mitsouko itself, although I love it, is too concentrated for me to wear. But the sales lady told me to wait at least a few hours for it to develop. I'm glad she did because it turned far more spicy in the end. Still nice and unusual smelling, but not enough for me to pay the price. Definitely try all of the EM scents on your skin for an entire day.

Honestly, i have never a scent like this before. I must say worth buying for something came from afar. It's pure, legendary scent and chic magnet...definetely! I have crazy collection more than 70 bottles but this one makes a complete collection.

It's just WOW!! I'm in love with this scent of lime vetiver and something like a molecule of happiness. These magic molecules can change your life for the better. I have a proof...................
You can try to mix Escentric scents with your favorite cologne for new feelings

This is an interesting one. It smells VERY GOOD on paper with cool wood and tea. However, it smells sour, at first, on my skin, and it becomes very gingery lime/lemon; enough to make me say "this smells sour; almost like Pledge" The sourness stays on my skin for an hour or so. It's enough for me to question myself if it's worth getting a bottle. Anyway, I need to try it again.

FYI, my friend said it smelled like jasmine tea, and my other friend said it smelled like weed. I am amazed how it dramatically smells different from person to person.

Sweet wood notes with a hint of spice, this is my favourite from the Molecule range. Well worth trying.
