Dior Homme Cologne 2013 by Dior is a Citrus Aromatic fragrance for men. Dior Homme Cologne 2013 was launched in 2013. The nose behind this fragrance is François Demachy. Top note is Calabrian bergamot; middle note is Grapefruit blossom; base note is Musk.

Dior Homme, masculine fragrance from 2005, got a lot of re-editions including Dior Homme Cologne that was first launched in 2007. In early 2013, Dior presents a new version of Dior Homme Cologne.

The new fragrance is announced as a modern cologne - simple, natural and sophisticated. It consists of citrus, floral and musky accords. Francois Demachy formulates the composition of precious raw materials of Calabrian bergamot, Italian grapefruit blossom and sensual musk. The fragrance gives a sense of purity of white cotton shirt and freshness that lingers after showering.

The face of the perfume is Jude Law, photographed by Peter Lindbergh. The fragrance is available as cologne in 75 and 125 ml bottles.

Idk barcelos93 a lot of people said the 22 smells like lemonade and this one smells more linen fresh. Do you have both of them?

Barcelos93

@Bigmike650

it's the same scent.

Bigmike650

2013 vs 2022 which is better?

Kingofclubs

Simply, the best cologne. The very definition of refreshing cool and clean, the white white musk base - a sexy glow that wraos things up. Superior to its 2022 reincarnation.

abyssangel

I was hoping to like this but I couldn't get past the floral essence of the grapefruit blossom. The super fresh citrus splash is great and stands alone for 10 minutes before I start to get hints of the flower. Then soon it's all flower power and it transports me to a clean waiting room for my doctors office. This fragrance is fairly popular so it's worth a try at your local beauty store, just hang around for at least 20mins after a spray and you'll have your verdict

Cioraniada

This is white linen in Capri. It always reminded me of Jude Law in The Talented Mr Ripley. It was one of the reasons I'm obsessed with fragrances. Smelled it first in 2014 and fell in love with it and even after all these years and having smelt all sorts of expensive niche scents this is still in my top 10.

When you first spray it smells like an elevated Sprite and it dries down to like a musky fresh masculine to the max level. Its unbelievably good. Luckly i have an old batch of 5 years ago I don't know if they reformulated this.

If anyone is interested, I have a high partial 125ml I’m selling. It’s roughly 65%-70% full. If interested, please email me @ [email protected]

I can send pics and etc…. :)

Best hot summer fragrance in the whole 🌎

corroboreefrog

From what I can recall, this was probably an exact copy of Number Six by Caswell-Massey. I remember liking it. Just got Number Six EdP and I believe it is almost identical with slightly heavier clove.

jgarcia01

I have a 4.2 bottle barely used I’m trying to part ways with. If interested message me.

Fresh citrousy fragrance all the way through. The dry down is a bit sweet and musky, but not a dirty musk, it's a clean almost soapy musk that compliments the citrous in a beautiful way. Perfect for late spring summer and early fall. The performance is unfortnuatly not the best. It's quite powerful in the opening but after around 4 hours it's settled down to very much being a skin scent, unless you overspray. I tend to go for 6 sprays on school days cause I'm at school for around 8 hours and with 6 sprays you can just barely smell it at the end of the schoolday. I have gotten compliments on it, but usually the compliments come in at the beginning of the day, telling me that the performance after the 4 hour mark is not very much. I prefer this one to Bleu De Chanel EDP, but the Chanel has far superior performance. At around the same price point I think I'd take the Bleu De Chanel, unless you prefer insanly fresh fragrances or already own a ton of fragrances.

This works for everyone, young and old. And is primarily a daytime scent.

Summary: It's a pleasent fresh smell, with poor performance. The scent itself is lovely though.

This was one of the first fragrances I ever got. I’d say that’s it’s best suited for summer, however I would say it is ver well suited for a work/school environment. It is weaker scent but still quite nice, I have received one or two compliments wearing it. This is great if you want to stick to something that isn’t too strong, but if you want something stronger I’d recommend Bleu de Chanel

Im super excited to finally get my hands on this. Its one of the most polite and noble scents i have come accross in my modest frag journey. Its super safe and easy to wear.If i could every morning i would swim in a pool full of Dior Homme Cologne, haha.Sadly, the summer is about to end soon but i hope that i will be able to use during the hot autumn days.It was a love from the first spray and i knew that i have to have it xD It was on my radar for a year.I have tested it twice beforehand and the longevity really impressed me,i was able to detect a slight skin scent on the next morning(12-13 hour later)and when i was in my bed i was taking a waft throughout my sleep, for such a scent profile, such longevity is decent.I dont know about sillage, but once i was at the stadium to watch my team,i have ran into his sillage from an uknown person and it might came from 2-3 meters,i was really impressed and that made even more craving to have it.The second time i have tried i got goosebumps on my head,it was my first time experience it from a perfume.Expect some old bottles clearance,i was able to get a smoking deal,200 ml for 80 euros.Had some preoccupations that it might have gone weaker were it an old batch, but decided to gamble and it paid off.Its the old bottle design but who cares,if you ask me i prefer the old ones. Its much more stylish and minimalistic, but its all about business after all,a revenue has to come. You may say its too simplistic and ordinary but thats what i love about it,minimal at its best.I love minimal, minimal music, clothes and art.Less is more. The main notes are only three, but you can feel them all,its not like other complex pieces where everything gets blended together and some notes are hardly detectable. Its a mass appealing frag, but who cares, man, its no shame to dip your toe in such things once in a blue moon.I glaudly introduced him to my modest collection and from now on,it will be an honorable member of my rotation squad,i will be rocking him today, hehe.Oh,and i almost forgot, the atomizer spays like a boss, its not the kind that sprays over excessively, but you are in the drivers' seat.

JustHalfling

Elegant, clean, fresh, and vibrant. Just love spraying this stuff.

I personally don't get why people complain about the performance of this juice because on my French guy skin, it's actually very good!

I strongly recommend pairing this bottle's design with similarly colored clothing; white and blue.

Stoopid Phresh

It has been 100 degrees plus in Texas for the last month...
This has been a shining star in my life!
It's so fresh, simple & crisp!

MSC99

Nice to have if you find one on sale but it doesn’t stand out and I find it’s too simple, not to mention the longevity that is less than proclaimed.

I was expecting much more from it.

Tangsman

Unfortunately, I dislike this DNA of calabrian bergamot and then neroli/musk. Subsequently, I also don't like Guerlain L'Homme Ideal Cologne (had then sold) and probably Eau Sauvage Cologne. They all have this 'creamy' feeling to it. I see why people would like this, but against my nose there is no way I'd wear this in high heat. This is a linear, less creamy, more spicy version of GLIC. Opens with a creamy lemonade note for few minutes and quickly goes to a citrus, creamy, spicy neroli similar to TF NP. Projects for half and hour and then is a skin scent for around 4-5 hours. Surprisingly decent sillage unlike its projection.

mo choudhury

I posted a picture earlier today.
but I just got another bottle of this 2013 version (batch code 9A02.)
seem like in 2019 the bottle shape changed.
it's the same writing but just in the slim bottle design. (same as the Dior homme sport 2017)
no difference in smell from my 2014 batch though, as far from what I can smell.

Chevalier d'Artagnan

Comme il suffit de peu de notes pour faire une belle mélodie, quelques essences nobles, de grande qualité et bien équilibrées, permettent d'obtenir une eau de cologne sublime et luxueuse.
Un parfum d'été idéal pour séducteur !

Smellybutgood

Apologies for the long review but it is well deserved.

This is perhaps one of the best warm weather fragrances that I have come across. The genius is in it's simplicity.

Upon the inital spray on my skin, I instantly pick up the bright citrusy accord from the bergamot. Puts me in the mindest of freshly cut bergamot with hints of lemon. Mind you, the citrus accord never comes off sour or potent but rather bright, energetic, and elegant.

I begin to pickup the grapefruit blossom shortly after of which to my nose, adds a touch of green to the bergamot, with a very smooth and subtle floral lining. At this stage the cologne smells distinctly fresh and crisp.

You begin to pick up the musk once this fragrance begins to drydown. It has now transitioned from bright and energetic to soft and airy which brings a very clean/soapy touch.

It blends very nicely with the white floral note from the grapefruit blossom. The bergamot starts to fall away during the deep dry down, but I can still pick it up here and there.

A humble fragrance that envokes timeless sophistication. Perfect for the office and warm summer weather but can also be worn in other seasons.

Very refreshing, clean, and forms an inoffensive scent that is absolutely amazing. And yes, it does remind you of a glass of cool, sparkling lemonade.

Perfect fragrance that lasts 8 to 10hrs on my skin.

Migu8l

Nearly perfect. I absolutely love the opening and as well as the dry down. It’s citrus city at first and drys down to a musky/citrus scent which I love. There’s one thing that really bothers me and it’s the longevity. It just doesn’t last long! I would never pay full price for this because of that. Highly recommend this fragrance for the summer!

andrewg

The best citrus cologne I have ever smelled to date. Would have in the collection it I could smell it past 3 hours. They need an edp.

Bergamot, in this perfume, is like a sweet orange and then merges with grapefruit blossom. I feel both right from the start, so I consider it a linear perfume, without much evolution, with a slight soapy touch.
I saw in some reviews that there is the smell of lemon zest, I don't feel any of that. On the openning, right in the initial moments, I feel a little sourness, but it passes quickly.
The perfume has very natural notes, there is nothing synthetic here.
I wish the musky base was a little more potent; however, perhaps this could unbalance the lightness of the set.
It's a pleasant aroma for hot days, for work and for the gym.
batch code 4001 January 2014

Arber Cami

One of my favorite staple fragrance for the summer months. Fresh, crisp realistic citrus, musky and spicy/ floral fragrance, really gorgeous. As the name suggest this is a cologne, longevity will be max 4h, so I suggest to reapply during the day.

SammerPharaoh

Meh.. If u told me that this cologne is produced by unknown American brand which costs 8 bucks, i would believe. Became a skin scent after 10 minutes.
I live in Egypt where most of the year is hot and humid, so it's reasonable that I'm digging fresh Aquatic Citrus scents, which Dior Homme Colone is categorized. And after a long experience i made a conclusion... (Italians make fresh aquatic scents way better than french).
I think when u need a real aquatic fresh scent, try Armani Acqua di gio flankers or Dolce & Gabbana light blue flankers or even Versace, Bvlgari and Prada

boffin1979

Great on men and women, unisex with a male bias. Floral lemonade. This is a classic example of less being more. Perfect for the office during summer or on summer outings. Low projection, but that’s probably a good thing when it’s hot. Simply beautiful!

Kmcintire

This is a staple in my spring and summer rotation. This review is for batch 4Z03. The scent starts off with bergamot and grapefruit. The mid continues without change. Finally in the dry down, I get musk mixed with the citrus. I know this is known for having poor performance, but I easily get 6-8 hours longevity. I haven’t sampled newer batches. This is a simplistic and elegant fragrance.

Praxic

This is a musky citrus scent.

Longevity: Moderate. 4 hours until it's a barely noticeable skin scent.
Sillage: Moderate.
Gender: Unisex
Price Value: Ok

Personal Notes:
I've seen people compare this to a cold glass of lemonade and I can definitely get that. It is an easy reach fragrance in high heat climates, and it is definitely signature scent worthy. If you're not big into citrus frags, I don't think this one is for you. I've received a few unsolicited compliments while wearing this.

Boier Serafim

Limonadă cu multă multă lămâie. Nu durează mult și dispare. În opinia mea, Rochas are o lămâie pentru vară, mai bună. Și mult mai ieftină. Între cele două, parfumul de la Rochas e preferat

puffinsauce

Even though it's a fragrance with a lot of other (cheaper) options, I'd take this one over the "clones" any day! I've tried Mercedes Benz Cologne, Vibrant Leather Summer, and Jimmy Choo Ice and I'd still rather wear this. There's something so smooth about the composition that makes it smell citrusy-fresh without feeling TOO photorealistic. It's just so pleasant and uplifting. Can't wait for the summer here in the northeastern US so I can start rocking it in-season!

heavyindustry

I didn't expect to like any of the lighter scents from the Homme line, but Homme Cologne is such an easy reach in the summer such that it's on my skin before I even realise. Much more unique and longer lasting scent than Dior Homme Sport. The scent opens with exceptional freshness, neroli-like yet sweeter, supported by grapefruit and lemon. There's no harsh edges or piercing freshness from the citrus unlike Neroli Portofino (or even Eau Sauvage). Lemonade is a perfect descriptor (previously I had Light Blue down as lemonade, but DHC is much closer), instantly quenching your thirst on application. The scent rapidly settles into the lightly sweet orange blossom heart, where it progressively loses its freshness. However, the light sweetness of the scent is retained alongside facets of green from citrus flowers. White musk stretches out the longevity of the scent way beyond cologne performance, lasting 5-6 hours on skin albeit with very thin projection. Save your expensive summery niches for another occasion, Dior Homme Cologne is the workhorse you were looking for!

evertonnick3

I don’t get a whole lot of similarities between this and any other Dior homme (2011,2020, intense, etc) but I smells really good. Like really really good. It gets compared to lemonade a lot and I totally agree. Very good warm weather fragrance. I highly recommend it especially for the price you can get it at.

Tman98

This is so refreshing. Smells like iced lemonade

Hamza_Chaudry03

Fresh citrus heaven for me 😄

silversalo90

I have 80 % left of 100 ml bottle which I bought in the end of 2018. If anyone is interested, pm me.

Sea2Summit

Around 2017, I invested in the largest flacon of this.

In the office, it's been complimented; for me it really suits relaxing resort poolside in summer; with a white musk and powdery base, it doesn't seem the best for sweaty occassions, such as a hot beach.

Now for a winge: if Chanel Allure Homme Sport that I bought in 2009 were still available before reformulation, I'd prefer it everytime.

It's a struggle to understand how in the great future we live in that clearly excellent fragrances are lost to reformulation.

It was complimented by my uni class students and respected by family.

So, DHC is as good as it gets now.

thecologneconnoisseur

This surely has to be the king of citrus fragrances. I absolutely love the freshness and I always receive compliments while wearing it. It obviously performs best in the warmer weather over the spring and summer months.

DaveCave

This one is a classic, reminds me of a hot summer day by the pool.

trashpanda0115

I smelled this fragrance for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and wow what a surprise. This is a masterpiece of a fragrance. When I first smelled this, I immediately thought of lemons. This smells as if someone cut the rind on a lemon and made the smell into a liquid form. I am absolutely amazed at how well they were able to capture this specific scent into the form of a fragrance. Although the longevity is very poor, I'm still debating about buying a bottle because it is truly amazing.

Silverquick

Managed to snag a 150ml bottle at a great price this week. This is heaven. Arrived today what a great way to end Tuesday after work.

Dior Homme Parfum is a love of mine (I only have a decant) for winter. This is totally going to make summer great. How can you not inhale this and just crack a grin and let out a happy and appreciative sigh at the same time. Followed by deep sniffing of wherever you’ve sprayed it.

Effervescent, sparkly and so refreshing. That gorgeous gauzy musky base. I would love to smell this on a guy.

Instead I’ll be wearing it with a dress to work with my mainly male colleagues for the next few months 🤣😁. Backup bottle worthy.

dantek121

Performance is weak. Let me get that out of the way. Other than that, the scent is beautiful and I really love it. I would almost describe it as a gourmand because of how delicious the sweet citrus, lemonade like, opening is. It is definitely one of the best openings in my collection. I'll often go ahead and get a whiff of the atomizer before going for a different fragrance because I love it that much. On the topic of the atomizer, it is excellent and very high quality feeling. I am looking forward to using this a lot in the summer even though I will have to respray often and presumably go through this vintage formulation very quickly.

mo choudhury

thank god i got an unused bottle of this 2013 version stashed away from time ago.
have you see the price people selling this for? what a joke.
same with Dior homme sport 2017, I've only got like 30ml left of that one as well. smh.

Clauder13

Big LOVE!!
This is the perfect scent for a hot humid sweaty day where you don’t feel like wearing anything.
I swear i could drink this.
Freshly squeezed lemonade.

La Nuit Noir

Soft, fresh, & clean lemonade on a hot day!

marsfragrance

I’m not much of a fan of this fragrance. It reminds me of Lemon scented disinfecting wipes, like Lysol. I don’t think a fragrance of this variety is worth $120 for 4.25 oz. Maybe like $50 or less would be better suited. I do think that this might work for some people on a very hot summer day, but I would pick any other fresh summer fragrance over this one.

grassblade

I lived with my wife (ex wife at this point) on an apartments building. Sometimes, when I took the elevator, it would smell manly, fresh, clean and sharp. I always wondered what it was, I started to have a relationship with that fragrance... I was its secret admirer. I wondered how I would feel rocking that beauty. One day the son of the owner who lived in the penthouse was in the elevator and I knew it was him. I am a very prideful creature and at that moment I didn't ask. I regretted it hard. Some weeks later I found the guy again on the morning, swallowed my pride and asked. Dude only told me: It's Dior.
Fuck it... I had a clue at least. I didn't want to look on the internet for it. That very same day I went to the department store and searched thoroughly for it. Tried all the Dior fragrances but I couldn't find it. I couldn't give up at that point and went to another store and then to another. There I found a white bottle that I haven't smelled and before even opening the cap... I knew that it was 'it'. I opened it up and sprayed directly on my skin. Took the 200 ml bottle with me that evening and since then, I have bought another 200 ml one. It's that good for me.

The fragrance smells like a manly lemonade. It's Dior. Refined, classy, fresh, playful but sober. Amazing for summer and spring. Casual or dressed up. On my skin it lasts at least 6 hrs, get yourself a huge bottle and a decant. It's a hidden jewel that may be too simple for some but... why does everything need to be complicated?

Morteza motahari m

When you spray, it's like you cut a fresh bergamot.
It's fresh, clean, like a cool breeze when It rained under the orange tree, gives the feeling of flying in the blue sky,
sense of freedom, cleanliness after bathing.
I work in a humid and hot island and the heat bothers me, It helps me tolerate hot weather, like a cool glass of water.
It has moderate silage and longevity.
Mercedes benz cologne and jimmy choo ice are very similar to this.

GeorgeBailey

Wear this at the beach. Top choice for the peak of summer. Refreshing and invigorating. So simple yet so good. Office appropriate citrus fresh. Very easy to layer due to it’s simplicity.

cneal90

Dior Homme Cologne is a beautifully refreshing summer time fragrance. Definitely a bright citrus blast in the opening and I can understand the comparison to a fresh glass of lemonade. The lemon opening doesn't disappear much into the dry down but you add in a little musk. The performance on this is not excellent and for some people that may be an issue considering Dior fragrances aren't heavily discounted anywhere but despite that, this is really one of my favorite fragrances to wear and worth the money.

Xzotic Smells

Don’t be fooled with the name or be a so called “label whore.” This has the same longevity, sillage and almost smell of Jimmy Choo man ice. This one is only sweeter and blended a tad better, so if you have Jimmy you have this. It actually take 10 sprays for this to have some type of longevity and sillage before going extremely intimate. When you own both and both are disappointments, you just layer them together to make “Dior Ice”. As always! Try it for yourself, everyone has different DNA!!!

Hsuan

Sometimes reminds me of McDonalds cleaning liquid that they use in the bathrooms.
Sometimes I bump into people wearing this exact same cologne and I’m impressed thinking I should grab a full bottle then I go home and try out my decant and behold, I smell like I slipped in the McD bathroom. This stuff ain’t cheap but citrusy scents can be a total hit or miss.

JustHalfling

This stuff off the atomizer smells like Fruit Loops and I'm all for it

Adam_Smith92

First time I smelt it was off my father’s dresser, it came off as cleaning liquid, lemon juice and sharp.

After looking at favourable reviews and the praise it received, I checked it out a few times at duty-free.

It now smells much more refined, musky, citrusy, and wearable in the summer-time. I would buy it if I didn’t have Dior Homme Sport.

A sprayed it on my jacket and a day later I got a whiff of the musky undertone. So it may be more potent on clothes.

aliyegore

I think it is perhaps the freshest and most comfortable scent of the Dior Homme series. You can smell a very nice citrus scent with a slight sweetness all day long. It is definitely a scent that will be complimented abundantly by every wearer.

Murphington

Dior Homme Cologne (2013) is among the several fragrances that could vie for the title ‘Summer in a Bottle’ and a close runner-up to Eau de Guerlain for the prize. The elegance lies in the simplicity of the formulation, as bergamot is combined with grapefruit blossom and musk to create an intimate yet compelling scent. The fragrance is wonderfully balanced between the freshness of the citrus note, the lightness of the floral note, and the heaviness of the musk. For a cologne the longevity was impressive when I wore it last on a hot summer in Seville.

FirstSense

This is one of the most elegant fresh colognes I have. The a little bit sweet bergamot citrus opening is so pleasant and uplifting that my mood is instantly happy and good. Dior knows how to create citrus fragrances, my other favourite is Eau Sauvage EDT. But Cologne is a totally different experience. After the bergamot top the grapefruit blossom is a perfect heart and the soft musk in the base feels like a silk sheet. Performance is not bad at all but this is an almost timid gentle fragrance that surrounds you like a light fresh white cotton shirt. Lately I smelled a lot of niche freshies (MFK, Le Labo, Essential Parfums etc.), but Dior Homme Cologne is still my favourite in that line of fresh citrus flowery fragrances. The wonderful skills of Francois Demachy and his art of letting things out created this unique elegant fresh jewel.

Barista1989

I wrote this one off right away without trying it and boy was that a mistake! This scent is beautiful. Got a tester and sprayed it on my wrist. Within 5 min walking around I couldn't stop smelling it. Yes, a bit weak but I still love it. Definitely will pick up a bottle for my enjoyment. It matures nicely and doesn't stay super citrusy but there's still a hint of it lying around. If you love this scent, grab Jimmy Choo Man Ice for a 1/4 of the price and keep this one for the special day occasions and lunch dates with the better half.

Dottorissimo

I love it. Fantastic, simple, refreshing, happy fragrance. Sparkling lemon and wonderfull soft musk base. Great for summer, but I also love to spray it on my wrist before going to bed, even in crispy freezing winter time. Somehow comforting and sunny, glittering sunbeam in the dark...

rafaelpdelima

One of the very best openings ever!!! (side to the original Eua Sauvage)

And it is quite linear, so the opening will continue very much for the entire life of the fragrance on your skin (that is not that long).

This was my signature scent for a couple years when I moved to NYC. I love it!

The downside: the performance is very weak, don't project much and don't last long. (and the price, considering it is so weak)

So, you make a decant and bring with you to reapply every 3 hours and you are good to go! (if you are ok to spend $100+ on a bottle)

Epilogue: Then I discovered a much cheaper alternative with very similar smell and quality: Jimmy Cho Ice - and now I overspray it not worrying so much about the $$$.

smellmyfingers

This, in my opinion, is the perfect classy men's fragrance for summer. I used to love Versace Pour Homme, but it's a bit sweet for my taste now. I might reach for JV Artisan Pure over this if I'm going to the beach or something casual. But for the office or even slightly dressed up summer vibe, I'm reaching for this all day. It's simple, uplifting, and clean. I have a 75ml but I'll be grabbing a 200ml next time. And the atomizer is very solid.

PhillyFresh

I'm surprised no one suggested it smells loel Versace Man Eau Fraiche. It smells almost the same to me, I own both.

Very crisp, smooth lemon. Sharp open but it rounds out and smells like a sparkling lemon to cut through the heat. Moderate sillage the first few hours then it turns into a nice skin scent. I'd prefer Versace over this because Versace performs much better, but this is still great.

derby2169

Beautiful take on bright tart citrus with a jaw-dropping top note. Calabrian bergamot is a note I am quite familiar with after living in southern Italy. It has a certain contrast to it between an airy tart juiciness and an aromatic bitterness. This definitely captures that bright juicy zing, but without any of the green bitter or oily facets.
There is just enough sweetness to counterbalance the sharpness of the bergamot, without muting it, reminds me of a high end natural lemonade that is high in tartness, but has just the right amount of sugar to keep it pleasant.
Citrus enthusiast surely know that when you buy a citrus fragrance you are essentially wearing its dry down, since the best citrus top notes tend to disappear in a matter of minutes. So what do you get in DIor Homme Cologne? A convincing grapefruit undertone, zesty and 'yellow' that last for about an hour on me, and then it settles on a delightful musky dry down that may just be as elegant and smooth as the top note. You can tell there are some expensive musk compounds at work here, I suspect a bit of ambrettolide, giving a cold, slightly white floral aura, but also a mysterious cotton like fuzzy musk I can't really place that seems to float almost off your skin. I easily get another 3-4 hours of that musk on my skin, projecting moderately with about 3-4 good sprays in total.

I see a lot of criticism about the performance, and by no means is this a beast mode EdC, but I suspect a lot of it has to do with how musky the dry down is, a lot of people are simply becoming noseblind to it when wearing it, or may just be entirely anosmic to some of the musks used in this.
For me the artistry of the top note, and suave musk dry down which clearly contains some high end musk compounds that never feel soapy or cloying clearly justify the premium Dior price.

sheynose

Light and easy to wear. White floral citrus and white soap. Very nice well blended office scent, wish it lasted longer on my skin.

If you want an uplifting fragrance suited for the Spring and Summer, DIOR Homme Cologne is built for it. Not a complicated note breakdown, bright up the top. Dries down slightly sweet and musky.

True, it's very linear. Some might find it boring. I don't, in fact, I would put this in my favourite designer summer scents because it achieves something quite remarkable. It can uplift you.

For me, longevity is 6-8 hours so for me, it seems it performs longer than the majority. I've got light skin, and often when people complain about low performance in some cases, it's not often the case for me. Protection is arm's length for around 1-2 hours and a nice skin scent for the rest of the fragrance. It's more of a fragrance for YOU than for others, but people can still pick up on it if in close proximity.

Very bright and refreshing, smells exactly like Sprite to the point I was tempted to drink it. If we’re talking about linear, one-dimensional citrus fragrances, nothing beats Dior Homme Cologne based on the smell alone.

Unfortunately, the longevity is appalling. Swear it doesn’t even last half an hour on my skin. Doesn’t really project too. I know citrus fragrances tend to be shortlasting, but this short for $125?

It’s good, it’s smooth, but not worth the money. Sorry, not sorry.

I am a huge fan of the Dior Homme line and have always been drawn in by the bottle design of Dior Homme Cologne however for a long time hesitated buying it due to it being an eau de cologne and not getting any decent performance, that being said.. I took the plunge as I wanted it in my collection.

WOW! This is, up to now, my favourite summer scent, the opening is so bright and citrusy, it’s clean, fresh and mood elevating. It’s like an ice cold lemonade and a nice summers day!

What’s better, the performance on this is absolutely incredible for an Eau de cologne (on my skin anyway), I don’t have much luck with longevity and performance with most fragrances, even Dior Sauvage, despite being classed as a beast mode fragrance, doesn’t perform as well on me than this cologne.

To put it in perspective, I picked this bottle up from Charles De Gaulle airport and sprayed it on my shirt just before departing, when I arrive home late at night and tired from the flight, I took off my shirt and chucked it in the wardrobe and went to bed. 2 weeks later I was gathering clothes to stick in the wash and noticed the shirt in the wardrobe so picked it up to add to the wash pile and was hit with a lovely scent, after a couple of minutes trying to figure out what it was, I realised it was the DHC I sprayed over 2 weeks prior.. incredible.

Honestly, this and Dior Homme original are the best scents I own, my biggest regret was not buying a bigger bottle!

Love love love!

thebloff

After trying this one in-store, I knew I would be buying it soon after. It has the brightest and most refreshing opening I have smelled thus far. I haven't experienced a citrus like this yet. Of course, I wish the performance was better, but I will just rate the scent itself.

Ordered from Sephora in March 2022.
Batch Code: 1B01 (Feb 2021)
Arrived in the newer "Bee" box.

ozgurakpinar

This is the most unisex fragrance I’ve evet smelt. Right in the middle. This should be renamed Dior Cologne instead.

Performance 7/10
Scent 9/10

This is fresher than most of the famous summer fragrances. But for hottest days the musk would be a downside. Still some of the freshest

sam smith99

If good smelling bergamot and musk is what you're looking for it's great. I'll probably be wearing this some days in the summer, it's like a daytime fresh fragrance, not thinking to hard.

Mushk

Looks like I am pretty much alone here in experiencing beast mode longevity from DHC! On my skin and in this 12 months round tropical weather, this lasts all day long on me. Idk whether it's the heat or my skin, this feels super potent.

I have tried dozens of freshies, and this lasts the longest. I read someone saying they layer this with Gentleman Cologne to add longevity. GC on me disappears in no times; it's the weakest on my skin. But yeah I get the similarity in scent profile.

Scent wise, I love the green and clean nature of this. I hit the beach every weekend and this shines in the heat. In evenings, this cuts through the humidity like nothing else out there (even better than Versace PH).

My decant is about to finish and I am wondering whether I should get a bottle of this or Benz Cologne which from what I've read last longer. I guess I'll just get a decant of Benz first and compare on my skin. Will update.

Aslanyus

simple, clean, pleasant, and very easy to use like this fragrance.

Barazoku

This is by far my favorite fragrance of all time. The scent is just perfect for me. The only downside to it is the performance. Yes, I know that it's a "cologne" formulation, but on most websites it is labeled as Dior Homme Cologne "EDT". With that being said, if the formulation was stronger I would buy 4 of the 6.8 ounce bottles just cause. I want to buy another bottle just to keep on hand in my car (yes i know that's a bad idea with heat and such), but it's so great that due to the performance I would want to have it on hand in order to respray at any given time.

TLDR - So good that I wanna carry it everywhere and constantly ooze of this fragrance. Only downside is performance but that is overshadowed by the quality and excellence of the scent.

Dr. Amir panjwani

Dior Homme colonge..fresh as maximum possible and brilliant scent...unmatched

lovethatsmellalot

Lemony, slightly sweet summer cologne that is good but not great. Lasts a decent amount of time for a citrus cologne. Love the bottle and sprayer.

Note to self: after several wearings, you like this one, but certainly doesn't beat the usual summer lineup.

Zizi518

A beautiful crisp, clean, refreshing, light and energizing scent that would instantly cure a heat stroke. Dior Homme Cologne opens with a realistic, zesty, juicy, tart, lively and ixy bergamot note. Feels like a sparkling lemonade drink, after taking a sip, the temperature around you instantly drops by 5 degrees celsius. This fragrance is inspired by what Dior Homme Sport did to the original, but takes it one step further and makes it even more zesty and refreshing while removing some of the spicy qualities. Still got a little bit of the signature smooth, powdery, elegent DNA. This smells extremely similar to Chanel Allure Homme Sport Cologne. IMO the subtle differences are: DHC is less complex, more powdery, and lacks the soapy quality from neroli. I have no complaints about this fragrance besides the performance, which is kinda expected to suck for this scent profile and an EDC. You have to overspray on this one.

This is a gorgeous summer scent and I think the higher the heat the more this will shine and refresh your mood.

Nice scent, but the performance sucks on this 😪
Layering Molecule 01 underneath gave me noticeably better projection and longevity.

Cool Autumn Breeze

This is just a wonderful, light, inoffensive scent. Two sprays on the neck and two on the chest works for me. I wear it year round but it obviously shines in the warmer weather.

leatherorrisviolet

Dior is now selling this in a Homme 2020-style bottle. I’m here to tell you, nothing whatsoever about the formula has changed. I have my 2016 juice on my right arm and the 2022 juice on my left arm and they are 100% identical. Of course there are gonna be crazy people on here trying to sell “vintage” bottles soon, but just know: the only difference is the bottle design.

mo choudhury

anyone else noticed the branding on the bottle has now changed? its now the same as Dior Homme Sport 2022 bottle? (Dior Homme on the cap and cologne at the bottom)

honestly, I'm hoping for MFK to bring back his creation of cologne (with iris)

Candyandy

Reportedly next in line for discontinuation after Dior Homme Sport. It honestly makes sense. While the DNA of this scent is timeless, I'm sure it isn't selling a ton as it doesn't smell exactly modern.
I wonder if it will get replaced by a new version of Cologne similarly as Sport has been or if it will get cut out of the line completely like Eau was.
(I could also be wrong and it won't be discontinued at all, it's just a rumor, don't panic!)

spiceysauce5

So so good. I just sprayed this for bedtime and it’s super comforting. In the high heat it’s my go-to. The grapefruit blossom gives it a subtle floral presence but it’s different enough from jasmine, tuberose, etc that it doesn’t remind me of womens fragrances.

Somehow vibrant and fresh (bergamot) while still being comforting and relaxed (musk/floral). Simple but nuanced and very high quality, on par with quality of some niche brands imo.

zbise

It's fantastic. Very citrusy and fresh, almost sharp - like a hot summertime wake-up call. I think it is a great modern update to something like Eau Sauvage (they are similar but NOT the same). I also like the sterile design of the bottle. The only problem is that a lot of cleaning product companies have caught on to this DNA, and nowadays you can find some toilet cleaners and bug spray that smells similar to this.

SimplDude

My bottle is now half full. Next summer I have to purchase a back up. This is one of my favorite summertime fresh, clean and green cologne. You may want to reapply after a few hours to really enjoy the scent. I also enjoy wearing this at home at my leisure. I just blind bought lHomme Ideal Cologne and that one will be on rotation with this one next summer. Lhomme Ideal has one of the most gorgeous opening and dry down to my nose, with some similar vibe to this one.

9/10 for a great summer splash

As always, it’s a good idea to try before you buy if you have that option.

“Let's spread the scents of peace and kindness. The two most beautiful fragrance in the world that will cost you nothing and will get you a totally different kind of compliments” 🙏

gentel

All I smell is really sharp citrus, I know it says bergamot but to me it smells a lot more like grapefruit. The upside is that it's super sharp and realistic but just a single sharp citrus note does not make for a good perfume. A little bit too much like a lemony liquid soap or other cleaning product, just too sharp and not nuanced enough to qualify as good

Luraco

Lets be real, this is not the most amazing fragrance you will ever smell, but it just smells good man. Nobody will be annoyed or offended by this fragrance, you will smell clean and nice. If you want a quick refresh or just dont feel like wearing civet-ouds, spray this on and you will be good to go. It actually last quite a while on me, the initial citrus blast dissipates quickly, but you´re left with a nice floral-musky base for some time after. Also its the only fragrance I would wear when doing sports. Thumbs up, this doesnt really excel at anything particular, but its utility is out of the roof.

Forgot to specify: Many fragrances will make you smell clean and nice, but in a "cologney" way. Not this, this just smells hygienic.

MalakiSeven

I have to agree with Christian77, this is for the quick spritz (or 5) in the summer to garner that light citrus/musk scent. This was a blind buy for me, but totally worth it. I may need to go with something that has a little more punch in the summer....thinking Xerjoff Nio or renaissance....but again, a truly wonderful scent and a strong recommendation for purchase.

Fatter

I am a sucker for a good citrus and despite all the hype I was suspicious of, I have to admit this is a nice one.

I was also skeptical due to it having 'homme' in the name it would be excessively bitter or have an underlying spice/leather/lavender/smokey. So often these citrus male-targeted scents are ruined in this way when I am craving a juicy refreshing burst.

DHC was to my surprise entirely unisex (by conventional standards of course). It opens with a soft yet tangible citric pop. It's blended in such a way that the floral, green, and fruity nuances are well balanced. So often the petitgrain is dominating or the neroli.

------------

Ok, I am in the drydown now. DHC has transformed into a more pleasant Acqua Viva. Can you believe that? I was surprised. It is a very lemon-forward cologne now. I prefer the opening but who doesn't when it comes to citrus perfumes.

By the way, Acqua Viva is an astronomical $275. I'd say skip all that and buy this if you are a fan of the former.

If you like the opening a lot like I do, checkout John Varvatos Artisan Pure. Another hyped up citrus that lives up to the fanfare.

jonbuckk

Beautiful citrus opening with amazing drydown the musk is so nice. Just a shame it doesnt project a whole lot otherwise it would be insane

shravanbendapudi

This is a superb summer fragrance. Although, admittedly very close to Mercedes Benz Cologne - the Mercedes Benz is a bit harsher and bit more synthetic, while the Dior is a little softer especially in the dry down. The disadvantage then is that it will not last as long. Given the price difference I'd suggest the Mercedes - but can't take away from how spectacular of a summer freshie this is.

DiorMan84

Did this version ever have Iris in it? It doesn't say it even in the vintage

Christian77

For those complaining about the longevity, please note that this is an Eau de Cologne (EDC) concentration; it’s mostly top notes and not meant to last more than, say, a couple of hours. It’s a hot weather or indoor refresher. You’re off to a lunch date during the hot summer months, for example, and you spray some of this as a refresher and to smell good for that block of time. It’s perfectly normal to simply reapply later. It’s especially handy for when you’d rather wear something different during the late afternoon or evening hours; it won’t clash.

EDC traditional use case includes post-shave refreshment, as a finisher.

EDC concentration is a legitimate and traditional fragrance category. Eau de Colognes should be understood and used as intended.

MarkoPeeko

Fantastic scent. I’m not agreeing with the poor performance mentioned in some of the reviews below. I picked up a tester today and sprayed once on my arm. That was 6 hours ago and, although it’s now a skin scent, it’s still fresh.

Loving the citrus, powdery vibe this gives off. Today’s been a warm spring day and this has complemented it so well.

I can understand the similarities with L’Homme Sport. Especially the citrusy opening. The dry down is different with LS.

kfrags88

The only gripes I have with this fragrance is the performance. After the first lets say hr or two its literally a skin scent but even so, I love it. The scent on this is like, an aquatic fresh lemonade thats addictive to the nose and makes you want to smell more.
This one you have to spray alot off so if you get it, get the 200ml because you'd go through it but i love this and will definitely be in my summer rotation.

discardedandroid

Pretty cool. I like it. Super bright, sharp citrus. Like ice cold lemonade in the sun. Performance is a letdown. That's why I bought 125ml and not 75ml. Highly recommend.

Lakila

Fantastic fragrance. Definitely my favorite summer fragrance to wear. It seems to be compared to Chanel's Allure Homme Sport Cologne. I can see the similarities, but they certainly aren't that alike. They both have that sharp citrus note, but otherwise their scent is different. AHSC has a lot of spicy notes in the backround, when DHC's only distinctable notes are bergamot and musk. I prefer DHC over AHSC due to it's simplicity. DHC's only downside is the performance, but the wonderful scent compensates it enough.

Overall I give it 9/10. Go wild with this fragrance in the heat.

doodluv

One of the best (if not the best) hot weather citrus fragrances ever created.
I love this thing so much, even with the abysmal performance.

Starts out with an explosion of fizzy citrus that, although done very well, could understandably make you 'meh, been there, smelt that'
Give it 5-10 mins though ... that's when the magic happens. Once those white floral notes start to pop out and mix in with the now more mellowed out less in your face citrus, the end result is simply divine.
The epitome of CLEAN and FRESH while smelling amazing all at the same time. The note breakdown might not be the longest or the most exciting, but every single note plays it's part perfectly, it is a fragrance where the sum is greater than it's parts.

Only downside as I've mentioned = No projection or sillage to speak of. As in, at all.
And I don't care! YOU will absolutely love the way YOU smell. I wear this for myself first and foremost, and it always delivers.

Get a 200ml and go nuts with the resprays, this thing is the bomb.

AA4102

The scent immediately reminded me of the time I traveled to Thailand with my SO. I feel like I've smelled this a lot in hotels, markets, even in the food there - this has a very tropical vibe which I live for. ❤️

Btw, I see this being compared a lot to Chanel Allure Homme Sport Cologne (CAHSC) which I also have, but I'd say cahsc is more complex, brighter, much fuller, and more citrusy (with some spices), BUT it would probably be too much on a hot weather. DHC on the other hand, is simple and lovely, a lot easier to wear and more fitting for intense tropical heat.

Milan17

When I first smelled this years ago it felt like I finally found THE fragrance for me, the perfect one, my holy grail. Anyone here who has been looking for their sort of holy grail scent will probably recognize that it feels like a weight is lifted off your shoulders when you finally find it, I felt so happy.

A review was long overdue, because DHC has been my signature scent for 4 years now and I still can’t imagine anything smelling better than this. The uncomplicated bergamot-grapefruit blossom-white musk combo results in a super refreshing and uplifting happy scent that is as inoffensive as it can be. Plus it has elegance like all Dior Homme's. Makes me think of a gentleman wearing a white linen shirt drinking a fresh lemonade at a fancy summer party.

This is also the only fragrance that I could wear almost every day year-round and not get tired of. I’d gone through my 125ml bottle in 1.5 years which is something I'd never expected happening with any fragrance, so of course it got replaced by a 200ml. The bottle is beautiful with a fantastic atomizer like all Dior Homme's, and the frosted white glass is extremely fitting. Performance is not the best, as mentioned a lot, though it's not bad either and it serves its purpose as an EdC and fresh summer fragrance. I usually use 6 sprays (which is ~twice my usual) and it lasts about 4 or 5 hours with low projection. Don't forget to spray on your shirt though as it lingers nicely for you to smell throughout the day. Its performance and smell ultimately make it the perfect inoffensive daily fragrance.

Between this and Chanel Allure Homme Sport Cologne (which it is often compared to, definitely try out both side-by-side) I easily prefer the Dior. If you like this kind of citrus scent I personally find them clearly different enough to warrant owning both. Both perform similar, both are (too) expensive.

Ryanne4707

I recently purchased this after about a year of filling my collection with other fragrance that appealed more to me. I blind buy the majority of my fragrances as I live in a small town and dont want to drive an hour to see how somthing smells. I do alot of research, watch videos and reviews, and read comments. Alot of people said that Dior homme cologne smelled like lemonade, and id have to say for lack of a better comparison, its pretty spot on. Id also seen where alot of people complained about longevity. A few days before I bought it I watched a video that focused on the longetivity issue and the reviewer had a great answer.
Being that its a light, simple fragrance alot of people look for the lemon to continue through out the fragrance and fail to notice the white musk that is the dry down. Since white musk is light and airy it can be easily overlooked. Alot of novice or people who don't care about the complexities of a fragrance dont realize that colognes have a opening, mid, and dry down. So once the lemon in the opening dissipates they overlook the musk and complain that it doesnt last.
I'm not a pro by any means but I tested out this theory multiple times and have to agree that people are overlooking the musk dry down. For me this fragrance lasts for a very long time. I have really dry skin and have problems with longetivity with lots of fragrances and especially with light summer fragrances. But not with dior homme cologne. Now the silage wasnt a beast or anything but I easily got 12 hours of scent on skin, which is amazing for me. One of the times I tested it, I could still smell it when I woke up the next morning.
Now this scent is not a favorite for me, not even one I think I will keep. If I have any question about if I will wear it often enough, I know I'm not going to keep it.
Its a pleasant scent and I can see why its mass appealing, but not complex or unique enough to keep my attention. I do like it better than dior homme 2020. I bought that around the same time and I hate it. Makes me nauseated when I smell it.
If you want a pleasant lemon scented fragrance then you will like this, but if you are looking for something more complex and captivating, there are a hundreds of better choices. Many with a much lower price tag.

greeneaj87

People claiming this has "abysmal" performance and "doesn't last more than 30 minutes" are misunderstanding this fragrance.

It's not a citrus fragrance, it's a citrus MUSK fragrance.

My friend gave this two sprays and I was smelling musk on them all day. I've received compliments about smelling "sweet and fresh" 8 hours after applying six sprays.

Perhaps most casual fragrance owners are not familiar with the scent of "white musk". DHC features a white musk / orange blossom heart/drydown that lasts for HOURS and projects very well. It's just not a scent that many people can easily identify. It's very transparent and soft. Almost akin to fresh white linen out of the dryer. This is a soft, musky scent.

Do yourself a favor and try spraying this AWAY from your nose. On your cuffs, your pants, your belly. You will get whiffs of musk for hours, and hours.

The freeze-dried, fresh lemon opening only lasts 30-45 minutes tops before this transforms into a musk scent.

This is a "Fresh" scent in a freshly dried laundry sort of way.

I'll say it again, DHC has phenomenal projection and longevity if you view it as a musk fragrance. The problem is, many people on here do not know what musk smells like, or they become quickly anosmic to it from spraying too close to their nose, or they could be completely anosmic to the type of musk used in here.

And no, Jimmy Choo Man Ice smells like a synthetic showergel cocktail compared to this. It's not even in the same league. The closest relative in my opinion would be Chanel Allure Homme Sport Cologne.

This is my second review to address concerns about DHC's performance.

MikeAPhotos

This is a people pleaser. Not offensive to anybody, but not going to stand out in the crowd either. Sits closer to the skin and doesn't last a long time. Truthfully, when you can find this on sale, it's a great one for when you know you're going to be outside and doing some sort of physical activity. For me, I actually wear 2 light sprays of this to the gym. Doesn't project, but I know if I pass close to someone, it'll smell pleasant.

The Wolf

Yep, this is a good one and a perfect dumb reach in hot weather.
I own lots of warm weather fragrances and I think in the overall scheme of my collection, this fits firmly in the upper middle tier. Better than light blue Intense but not as long lasting.
Not as good as Bergamote 22, but much less expensive.

I think for this price point, Commodity Bergamote is a better option.
Like most citrus frags (except for Xerjoff Nio) they do not last.
I get about 2 hours out of this before it disappears on my skin.

Overall a solid choice if you're looking for an easy grab that smells pretty good.

LuisFelicio

This fragrance is soooo gggooood 😁
So fresh, its like taking a bath on fresh lemons and grapefruit ❤
The perfect scent for a hot day 🌞
And can be weared by women too 👍
Longevity is normal for a summer scent, so overspray, dont be a sissy sprayer 😜

Kronstadt

Very simple note breakdown, but really perfect for a hot summers day. For those of us that live in hot and dry climates, a real winner of a fragrance that you can wear most of the year. Clean, fresh, and just beautiful.

ObiWanCannoli

Perfection. This is simple without being boring. Versatile without being generic. The citrus is prominent and lasts throughout the life of the fragrance. The white musk give a soapiness to it. The grapefruit blossom gives a sophistication to the scent. For warm weather citrus, soapy, white floral is an amazing combination. This is perfect for the office.

The projection is decent for a a couple hours then sits close to the skin for a few more hours. I keep a bottle at work and reapply. 10/10

Johan Sweden

Fin naturlig citrus och musk. Funkar året om.

PedroFr20

Sprayed it at my local store, got home and the smell is now very slightly noticeable. What a shame, the scent is amazing yet simple. Super classy.

chrisk252

Beautiful, transparent, airy, fresh lemonade. Possibly the most refreshing fragrance I've ever tried. However...terrible longevity and sillage. I can barely smell it within 15 minutes, even with my nose right up to the spray spot. Test it first to see if this is worth it. Mostly used as a pre-bed scent since I'm gonna fall asleep soon anyways.

Fragranciones

Light, fresh and easy to wear fragrance. It smells like an bergamot with a touch of white floral notes. In my opinion, it's not worth the price, very expensive for such a simple and light fragrance.

jarno1208

I like it. I have had this for a while, but only now writing my thoughts about it. Yes it's worth the hype. It is super clean and fresh citrus scent for the warmer weather. There is nothing off putting or anything like that. Strong like.

Aous

simple yet beautiful really love this one

Caldrumr

Eh. I don't love this one.
It's very weak and doesn't last long.
It smells very similar to lemon-lime soda, but then just fades away into some very generic citrus musk.
Might be something you could wear to the gym.
Not impressed.

SupermanEcstacy

One of the most disappointing fragrances. It's not bad at all! But for what you pay for it's not worth it. Also, I regularly wear Lemon Colonia splash (not 4711) and I swear it smells 98% the same, only thing is with the Colonia I get 500ml for £5/$7. It's a good fragrance no doubt, also ''longevity issues'' doesn't make sense. This fragrance I think was made for small outdoor visits and serves those moments in the summer well. I will say this...if I was rich, I'd buy 20 bottles of this stuff each summer. Overall, test it and think about it.

boyan_v

Just look for G.Bellini Pure they sell it in Lidl for 4euros, which is like for free smells quite the same and performs really good.

adamh9201

Selling my lightly used bottle on depop; username adamh9201

Deepak Vashistha

Exactly same like Mercedes Benz cologne! Though it has that dior quality and is less sharp but it is very poor performing and very expensive for what it offers.

Smell wise all below are similar in following order for me:
Chanel edition blanche > Dior homme cologne > MB cologne > Mancera lemon line > Jimmy choo man ice

fisken23

I love this one! BUT, the performance is crappy and the price is to high for what you get.
I just discovered that Zlatans latest release is almost identical to DHC, Zlatan Sport FWD. Not the same quality, of course, but with better performance for a fraction of the price.

Steven221283

Positives: The best scent of any summer fragrance that I've smelled. Bar none. It's really that good. The bottle is a stunner too and the atomiser is one of the best.

Negatives: It doesn't last long enough. It's quite expensive. There are cheap, reasonably similar clones for much cheaper.

It's still worth having a bottle of this and I'm so glad I finally got around to buying it. But on the days I'm wearing it, I'll have to either wear a lot of it and top up in the middle of the day, or use this plus one of the clones (I currently have Zara Vibrant Leather Summer which isn't far off this and cost me £9.99... it's not quite DHC though, the clones can come close but they can't get that dry down quite right)

vadlee1995

This bloody hell abysmal under-performing weak fragrance surprisingly got me hooked when I wore it to cycling few days ago. I didn't expect anything from it, I sprayed it on me just because I love the scent. After around 3-4 hours as I started sweating quite heavily, it just blended very beautifully with my body heat. The simple musk and slight citrus in the drydown complemented so well with body chemistry and it just projects! I now realize this is a killer scent for gym/workout/exercise, it smells very "human" as you're getting wet too. Just wear it 10 sprays when it's hot and you're sweating, you'll see the magic—it works like wondrous!

Mjchaelj

It smells like a margarita to me. Casual, pleasant and perfect for a hot day. It’s not my favorite Dior homme flanker but it’s nice. Also to me it smells like a lower cost alternative to Allure Homme Sport Cologne by Chanel.

8/10

RisingChaos

Simply put, this is fresh lemonade in a fragrance. It's just about the most refreshing scent one could possibly wear. The performance is utter trash, maybe an hour tops of projection and 4-5hr of the musky drydown, but it's so simple and refreshing. It's perfect for an hour at the gym, a grocery run in the summer, or perhaps a car ride to the pool/beach where you expect to get wet shortly thereafter anyway (which would wash off any fragrance worn). Double sprays I can maybe get two hours out of it.

Niall

The smell is so inviting and the best among citrusy perfumes. However, you pay a lot of money just for water. It lasts 10 minutes, if you pour water with lemon on you will stay longer than this.

blacklite911

I'll use this opportunity to compare Dior Homme Cologne to Dior Homme Sport because I'm sitting here with both on either wrist. But have a similar purpose being used for warmer whether, casual or office scents. They both open up with a bright citrus. Cologne's smells more elegant while Sport smells more lemony. Both fragrances are linear in that after the opening, the scent stablizes and doesn't change. Both have similar longevity and projection, which is short and not very projecting unless spray more, which you can.

the major difference is how they dry down. Sport fits it's name sake and becomes a clean deodorant smelling frag that would be good for after gym. Homme Cologne becomes a soapy smelling frag with some green hints. So Cologne smells a little more high class while Sport is more common. But they both smell good quality

ejsmd11.1

One of the most beautiful and refreshing openings in all of perfumery. I love this stuff, but the performance is abysmal. ABYSMAL. So disappointing.

Katabetha

Photorealistic Lemon Slushy. Very refreshing for the high heat

Impartial

My all time favorite fragrance. Amazing for summer.

The opening begins with a beautiful citrusy scent. Then, the bergamot and grapefuit stay with a little bit less intensity and the musc adds a wonderful scent to this.
On the clothes the longevity is not as bad for a really fresh fragrance. Girls I know love it.

Very beautiful perfume, perfect for summer and hot days, fresh, class and with a touch of sexiness.

pauladeyemo

Beautiful in the opening. Which lasts for literally 10minutes. Dry down is a clean musky clean sheets type of smell. It's nice though and not too bad if you just plan on overspraying which you have to do for this or nobody is going to smell you. managed to get around 90ml for about £35 - I wouldn't pay for a full bottle under any circumstances. It's generic.

ejhinojosa

Dior Homme Cologne is unbelievably fresh, clean, and inviting. Wear this to give those around you the impression that you're an easy-going and upbeat person who's both sensible and stylish. Perfect for hot weather. 6-10 sprays for me on both skin and clothes, otherwise it's gone in an hour. The bergamot is fresh, dominant, and invigorating. The grapefruit blossom is subtle and wet. I get a faint thujonic cypress note in the opening, which I love--it adds to the fresh airiness of this fragrance. Recommend!

Ahmed Zeyneddin

Absolutely marvelous, clean and fresh, longevity and projection is good (not beastly by any means but that,s the idea of it anyway), to those who say it is synthetic I can say that I have never smelled a more natural scent than this one, Bergamot and Grapefruıt are abundant and cheap, no need to try to synthesıze them ın the first place!!
i would definitely recommend this over DG light blue, ADG, Dior Sauvage, and Bleu de chanel as a summer fragrance, so simplistic and sophisticatedş ideal for work and outdoor, thumbs up.

gortizgarcia

is it true that this has been discontinued? Where and how could I verify that please?

Ksj_

This is a generic floral citrus scent. I've smelt this type of scent many times before. The bergamot is the driving note here. To me, this smells identical to Bergamote 22. But for whatever reason, I'd go with this one over the other 25+ fragrances with a bergamot dominant approach. Anxious to see how it performs in high heat.

gortizgarcia

Is this discontinued? Can somebody confirm please?

neilck

No words can describe how beautiful this scent is for people who like cleanliness, fresh and light fragrances.
Heaven in a bottle 👼🏻🤩

komail

This does not belong to Dior Homme line. However, its one of the best summer fragrances for extreme heat situation. This is the type of fragrance you want to wear with t shirt when you are under the extreme summer heat. Its airy, vibrant, and refreshing.

Scent is simply: bergamot and little musk. Smells like an ice cold cup of lemonade. (The color of the juice is also the same).

The longevity is around 4 hours and projection is moderate which I think its perfect for the atmosphere it would be used in it.

jero

This is my MFK Aqua things substitute, they all share the artifical cleaness vibes, and this is at a cheaper expense in 125ml, smells like a niche and I always forget this cologne belonged to Dior Homme.

Jtonmobile

I love this fragrance. Amazing for the summer. In the opening it's a bright citrus with hints of musk and powder. Going into the mid the citrus stays strong, the musk is supporting and the powderyness also supports it. To the dry down, the citrus is still there and then the powder shines showing a half and half with the citrus and then the musk tags along. It is a wonderful blend, the powder mixed with the citrus is a exhilarating combo with a musky support. The price is steep but I got a authentic 125ml on ebay for a deal from the seller: Jocu1980.

When I think of a fresh fragrance this is one that will be king in my book unless otherwise. I recommend trying it

Longetivity: 86/100 lasts for about 7 hours on my shirt.

Projection: 84/100

The scent: 92/100

Overall: 85/100

I also have mercedes Benz cologne and will update on a comparison between the two in the future

Bison blues

Blenheim bouquet by penhalions is about the same but better. Doesn’t last long, but I like it a whole lot better than sport. Sport is almost non existent. Lemon citrus musk. Musk is the best part but better in other things IMO.

Vetiver King

very beautiful citrusy fragrance that smells incredibly good. The longevity and projection however sucks. I get maximum one hour of longevity which is shameful. I'll recommend better options with decent performance like Guerlain ideal cologne.

the_internetguy

First impression, it reminds me of Jimmy Choo Man ice, which is a good summer cheapie. But this one is a clear step up in my opinion. More rounded and smooth, yet a little more sparkling, juicy and interesting. Love it!

WilliamRipley

Smells like Fresca is the best way possible. So refreshing and perfect on a hot, sticky, sweaty day.

cvaile

Spectacular, elemental citrus fragrance. Absolutely stellar quality. Also agree with the longevity issue. Performance is actually good - it projects surprisingly well for it's detectable life on my skin, unfortunately that life is not a long one. On me I get about 2 hours of decent projection, but only about another 1-2 hours of skin scent, after which it is very difficult to pick up, even with my nose applied directly to the skin.

Agree with Jimmy Choo Man Ice as a very affordable stand-in for this, though I can't vouch for its longevity either.

Marssade

Try lalique white... For 1/5 of the money..

Amarul

If you want to smell like a Sprite soda for the hour and a half this cologne lasts, then this is good for you. As it is good for me. Reminds me of the Sprite candy there used to be in my country.

Bergamet

I have spent the last several months working my way through the cologne genre and I have now arrived at Dior Homme Cologne. The high rating is completely justified in my opinion.

The beauty is in its simplicity. There are few notes present and no rough edges - citrus, blossom and clean musk. It remains fresh and young while many other colognes quickly feel dated. Like many others I get 3 - 6 hours out of it but I use between 6 - 10 sprays and the longevity depends on my activity level. Of course there are plenty of colognes out there that smell very similar, it may seem like splitting hairs but when something is this simple the differences quickly become noticeable. The price to quality ratio is simply unbeatable.

10/10, if you like a minimal scent then it's blind buy worthy.

jellisunc

Extremely clean citrus thanks to bergamot (I smell lemon) and white florals. It's simple, yet elegant and classy. You can wear this at any time but definitely shines in high heat days with high humidity.

Performance is lacking, but this is a cologne and should be expected, that's why there is a 125ml bottle! Performance is 3-4 hours until it dries to the skin so feel free to overspray!

I am trying to decide if I like this or DHS 2017 better, but I am having a hard time. This is ice-cold lemonade or sorbet, where DHS is creamy orange and woods.

Edit: Like a few fragrances I love but end up getting rid of. This one gave me a headache, not sure why but I had to get rid of it.

Something in the top was way too strong for my nose, instant headache.

Kenkiun

Lemonade. Very fresh & sexy

DookieShoes

One of the best citrus florals you’re going to find at the designer level. So refreshing and clean, like a glass of cold lemonade on a hot day—perfect for summer. Longevity is actually not bad on me, I get 6-8 hours but like others have said, it’s not a strong performer and becomes a skin scent within a couple hours.

azsmellz

7/10. I was very curious about this fragrance because I like refined citrus floral soapy scents like ADP Colonia and Essenza. While this is not in that league, it is a nice summer fragrance. Before I opened the box, I could smell dry floral and musk which worried me because I smelled no citrus. This should give you a hint that the lemony citrus does not last. And that's exactly what happens. Opens with a lemonade burst which surprisingly evaporates in minutes. Floral and musk on dry down, but it never crosses the line to the too feminine side. Unisex. Summer. Clean. Lemon. Floral. Musk. Limited application. Good, not great.

Kloppo

Pretty damn good for a fragrance in this price range. I dont think any other designer fragrance can realy nail a soapy citrus fragrance because they all become sour and yuck in the dry-down. Think of this as a more masculine mugler cologne with sweet fruits added in. The real shame is it lasts only 3-4 hours on my skin which is disappointing to be honest. Worth every penny and definitely unisex.

Konga5000

Let you bottle "sit" for a year and it will get stronger. I leave the cap off as well.

cesarsamano

I have almost all fragance from the line "dior homme" and this is very different from all it is bright and simple bergamot on the opening (very realistic) with some with floral, after 30 minutes the bergamot doesn't fell so much potent as the beginning but became you can smell the very lovely citrusy, floral musky combination.
I'll love this more if only can last longer because this become a skin scent in an hour after apply on me 😢 and last like 5-6 very close to the skin
Anyway perfect for high heat summer, beach or pool day 🏊
7.5/10 for me

greeneaj87

That brisk lemon opening puts a smile on my face every time. What a beautiful accord! It only lasts an hour at most, and then.... another charming accord unfolds. Dior's Homme Cologne settles down into a long-lasting, soft, citrus-y white musk that smells so clean and uplifting. The musk lasts a while on skin, and longer on clothes, and is a remarkable part of this fragrance.

Completely safe blind buy.

The fleeting but beautiful citrus opening can be forgiven by the expertly crafted and long-lasting drydown. Furthermore, this cologne achieves its character without an apparent overload of dihydromyrcenol, calone or ambroxan. There is absolutely nothing in this that would induce headaches or other averse reactions, in my opinion. Well done, Mr. Demachy!

edit: cleared up some verbage. Almost a year later and I still love Dior Homme Cologne!

Nessa60

I also love this fragrance as a female. I find it very citrusy, light and clean. In my opinion it’s unisex and lasts about 2-4 hours on my skin.

PilotJames

Which volume bottle matches the size and shape of the 100ml bottles of the Dior Homme and DHI?

Mr. nose it all

VERY nice clean citrus iris. If you like this but also don’t mind to be daring Prada Milano d’homme or (“cedre” now apparently).. are close but better IMO.

schil

My favourite Perfume al time!. never get this out of the mode.
Maybe some feests take an other perfume, but every time i come back to these !.Dior Cologne!.
I find it a most sexi perfume for a Man.
He exudes classe. Fresh washed, sexie, handsome man.

tintin19

Fabulous fresh smelling lemon cologne that suits hot hot conditions and I mean 30 degrees C plus with high humidity. Unfortunately in such conditions it fades quickly but in the meantime it is fabulously cooling and refreshing.

Exquisite presentation and packaging.

Bfreepro417

Super simple and fresh, smells very natural, like a beautiful spring breeze. It's citrusy but also green, not as woody as most of Dior's other fragrances, but smells to me like a super clean lemon, green grass and white flowers, and soft musk. Reminds me a bit of CK One for a modern generation with way better ingredients, can be unisex, but if you're a guy people won't be like "hey you're wearing a girl's perfume". I prefer Dior Homme Sport but this is excellent and the kind of fragrance that lifts your spirits. Best for warm weather, but can be used year round as something to lightly mist after a shower or a work out. Love it!

sarahherbs

I agree with the other reviewer's description of the notes. As a female, I love this fragrance and it’s not too masculine at all! It quickly replaced my D&G Light Blue Intense, because it’s less astringent. You can be heavy-handed with it since it tapers off fast. That’s just the nature of colognes and citrus fragrances. I personally don’t mind reapplying or going HAM with it because I own so many bottles of perfume that I will probably never use a full bottle. That is why finishing an entire bottle or making a sizable dent in one is so satisfying. That’s not a humblebrag I’m just saying you don’t have to be afraid to use your fragrances, that’s what they are made for!

mutatismutandis

Dior Homme Cologne opens with a glorious flourish. There's a sweet citrus which smells more like a floral, sweetened lime than Calabrian bergamot to me and it lasts for about 30 - 40 minutes. It's a skin scent throughout. After the sweet floral citrus goes, there is a musk scent and that's about it.

I would say there are plenty of better colognes out there and better bergamot perfumes out there. If you want a bergamot cologne I would suggest either The Different Company's Bergamote or Monotheme Venezia's Bergamotto.

Too fleeting for the money.

ggdan

I'm generally not big on citruses, but this one smells crisp and fresh without being too lemonade-y or sharp. Lasts the whole day but doesn't project much after it settles down. It's definitely unisex to me, I like it on my boyfriend and myself as well.

victoria.mei1992

Smells like lemon water. Definitely unisex, silage is awful, longevity is maybe 5 hours. Hard to tell, because it becomes a skin's scent in a few hours.

mhmorrison90

This is actually a Summer hidden gem that doesn’t get talked about too much. Nice fresh clean smelling scent. You get that blast of Citrusy/Flower all at once that’s just so refreshing. Most definitely has that clean laundry vibe as well. Finally got myself a bottle not that long ago and I just can’t stop randomly smelling it. Something so relaxing about. Nothing special of course as far as the notes go but gets the job done. A Spring and Summer go to for sure. 9/10 for me.

diego.lesgart

Nothing to do with Allure Cologne Sport! at all! Dior Homme Cologne smells synthetics, NO EXPLANATION! in the same style of Mercedes Benz: totaly plastic! Saddly in this millenium Dior only makes flankers and generics and totaly fogotten the marvellous icons.

overtsaceie

I didn't expect these amazing from the simple notes but it smells so good. The very sharp lime scent at the top note stays for a while then floral note turns to combine and smell more fresh and clean. Finally, when dried down become musky that keeps overall fresh.

Even the notes are very simple but they smell longer than I thought. That makes this fragrance unlike other cheap lemon/lime perfumes from high quality of materials

Simple but perfect 9/10

Yaterade

A great, very simple, well blended scent that works great as a skin refresher on a very hot day and as such is sadly overpriced for what it is. If it were positioned price wise in the designer "after shave" bracket where 100ml (or in this case 125ml) is around the $60 mark I think this would ease the collective conscious of the detractors of this fragrance. Alas, it is not so and must be judged how it is positioned.

The frozen lemonade rumors are true and this fragrance does give off an incredibly pleasant, fresh, cool vibe. The main problem here is that the projection on skin is almost non existent, as is the lasting power. The phase of the "frozen lemonade" life of Dior Homme Cologne is gone in a matter of minutes on skin, and doesn't project far enough up to your nose for you to smell it on yourself anyway without putting nose to skin. Zara's Vibrant Leather Cologne on the other hand has the performance projection and longevity wise that I wish DHC had, albeit in a much cheaper, synthetic smelling sort of way that isn't nearly as "refreshing".

Chanel's Allure Homme Sport Cologne as well has basically the same DNA as DHC but with a slightly darker heart and base that isn't quite as cool shower on a hot day feeling as what DHC brings. Think of DHC as Eau Sauvage whereas Chanel's offering is more akin to Eau Sauvage Parfum.

So here we have a very well blended, refreshing scent whose opening refreshment doesn't last past 15 minutes before the white musk drydown and whose projection won't naturally make it up to your nose on skin, at a premium price point and generally not seen at discounters. Where does that leave DHC?

I think the best use of DHC is like that of how men's fragrances used to be used - to scent objects. Sprayed on clothing, DHC lasts quite awhile, projects much further than it does on skin, and stays in its opening of bergamot for a duration much longer than when applied to your body. A few sprays near the collar of your shirt and you will experience what this fragrance does well much more effectively, and get that refreshing feeling that DHC promises. Now just knock $30-40 off the price tag.

micholas

This is going to be a controversial view, but I came to a realisation when first trying Diors Homme Cologne. Fragrance tastes are obviously subjective, but I honestly believe that as our tastes and awareness of what we like develop, you start to realise that fresh citrus scents are just so boring and bland. I used to be the biggest fan of these harmless scents, but the more complex and masterful scents have come to my nose over the years, the more these freshies just don't inspire or stimulate me.

Back to Dior Homme, the performance, as with all these kind of fragrances, is pretty pathetic. A skin scent from application, and then gone completely after an hour. I'm using the 2017 variation, so cannot comment on the earlier version, or the different formulations that have come and gone.
There is no transition in this scent, it's very linear and smells the same from application as it does when it dies. Which is pretty much just the bergamont and the blossom, I didn't really get any musk. There's nothing special to this, it's pretty clean and very harmless. I don't think you'll stop anyone in their tracks because I don't think they are going to smell it, unless you push someone into your neck.

In a nut shell... subtle mediocrity

sugarcane

The epitome of spring/summer fragrance.

This fragrance is just so powerful. As it is a cologne, it has very little longevity. However it carries an insane projection albeit a short one.

In the store since I do not know what bergamot smells like I thought this was an orange zest fragrance. The bergamot is so wild on this one, in a good way.

This is a fragrance I will continue to buy for years to come. It is simple but so effective. It does not smell like anything else neither.

Go for it, 9/10.

UrgentCorn

I blind bought the 6.8 oz bottle a while back, and I'm so glad I did, because this became my No.1 fragrance. The freshness of the bergamot is like no other. It is almost impossible to dislike.

Kmac23

Bursts out of the blocks with a bashing of bergamot that is super fresh and bright. Really smooth stuff.

Eventually settles to a freshish musk after an hour or so.

Sure, the longevity isn't amazing, but as a fresh scent to spray first thing in the morning before a walk or going out to brunch, it's great. Also great for 2 sprays after an evening shower in summer. Super refreshing.

You'll definitely need to re-apply by lunchtime if you're wearing in the office, however be aware, the opening is super bright and will project a lot in the opening 10 minutes.

rodamon

Fresh, clean and relaxing fragance, very relaxing A bit linear but exquisite smell. Great for spring/summer, day or night. Suitable for any age group. A little expensive for a summer cologne, but in my opinion worth to pay for it.

Celeria

Casual, easy to wear and simple cologne, citrusy and musky and not that sharp.

Expensive for what it gives, smell-wise and performance-wise.

I prefer cheaper alternatives as Lalique White which has a spicy touch and more character, and also prefer Ferragamo Acqua Essenziale Colonia which lasts more and has a aquatic-sweet touch to it.

overtsaceie

Simply classic and nice blend with cleanliness and fresh scents when washed out. Pure of naive vibes and can be a unisex perfume

liketheboys

Loveliest citrus. Presented like this, with the musk, perfect scent for a sharp lady in summer. Nothing about this reads masculine to me. The musk ended up giving me headaches and I gave it to a woman who used it up in no time and smelled great wearing it.

piyux

Dior Homme Cologne opens with a moderate projection of citrus and white floral notes. The opening is very fresh, sour, sporty, bright, and summery. The bergamot and grapefruit blossom are the prominent opening notes. These notes combine themselves creating a fresh, lemony, sour, white floral, and slightly sweet accord that feels young and very sporty. As time passes, the musk develops, enhancing the initial projection of the fragrance. The musk in this fragrance can be described as lemony, fresh, classy, mature, with a light animalic touch but inoffensive. Gradually and subtly, the musk and bergamot exchange places without creating much distance between them. As the fragrance enters its dry down, the lemony and projecting musk leads the fragrance, closely followed by the bergamot and grapefruit blossom. The fragrance has a simple but noticeable opening to dry down change. The opening is mostly citrusy lemony and white floral; however, the dry down is musky lemony and white floral. The opening feels sporty and young; the dry down feels sporty and classy. Once Dior Homme Cologne has reached its full dry down, it can be summarized as a moderate projection, musky, white floral, and citrusy fragrance with faint sweet accords. The fragrance feels casual, classy, diurnal, fresh, mature, mild, moderate-quality, musky, refreshing, sharp, sour, sporty, unisex, versatile, zesty, and pleasant.

This stuff makes my heart sing, for about half an hour, then its gone with the wind. Sadly, when the bottle is done i'll move on.

amrlafi

I'm not a big fan of Dior, especially their most recent offerings but this one is the most well-balanced classic cologne (neither the bergamot is prominent nor the musk) The best summer scent. A must have in a collection.

hellogoddag

I am generally not much into citrus heavy fragrances, but this one is very well blended. Excellent balance of dryness, bitterness and sweetness.

It smells very authentic of slightly sugared citrus

How to make your own DIY-Dior Homme Cologne at home:

1) Get some bergamot extrait (one of the cheapest and most frequently used ingredient in perfumery) and "White Musk" from The Body Shop ($20-25 for 100ml).
2) Mix them together.

That's it -- this is the legendary Dior Homme Cologne.

Seriously though, it's so obvious that certain fragrances get a lot of hype, even though they're clearly basic, uninspired, and/or lackluster just because they're from a high-end brand like Dior. Yes, the opening is very fresh and nice but the top notes are gone after literally 5 minutes and before you even leave the house after putting on the fragrance -- that's not exactly my idea of a perfume that's worth its money. And what's left is White Musk, period. Overall performance is a joke too: skin scent after 1 hour and completely gone after 90 minutes.

So, what do we learn from this? Never ever believe the hype about any fragrance, no matter how persistent and widespread it may be. The Fragrance Community is full of what appears to be herd instinct and confirmation bias. Always test fragrances for yourself and form your own opinion.

aleksi.savolainen

nice scent but It last only 2-3hours in my skin very weak performance, just cannot overspray this I usually ad 30-40 sprays to my shirt not worth of price

joeteazo

Bright, lush bergamot & effervescent floral mid notes. But the key to this fragrance is the soft velvety musk in the base. During its short life, the musk will appear and truly leaves a sexy trail - it really blends well with your own perspiration.

oxobrybryoxo

What can I say that hasn't been said. Smells good, poor performance blah blah blah. Alot ofnpeople get a "frozen lemonade vibe,I get lemonade and lemon cleaner. Wearing it today and sprayed 1/4 bottle. I should get a good 2 hours out of it!

$centinel

Update: sprayed this on last night before bed to test duration. It’s now 3:45pm and I can still smell it as a skin scent... I’m so glad to have found a fresh cirtus that lasts this long on me!
I love citrus so if anyone has any recommendations for something you’ve experienced similar performance with, please comment!
For you guys having performance issues, my guess is that you’re either:
A. Having a skin chemistry issue
B. Experiencing scent fatigue, or
C. Using it outdoors in high humidity heat, which freshies of course excel at, but which will cause ANY fragrance to evaporate more rapidly.
Performance on me is killer so I just bought a 6.7ml bottle.
Great stuff!

$centinel

I’ve been testing this for 3 days and, to make a long story short, I’m giving DHC my very first 10/10 review.
Skin chemistry is so very unpredictable. To complicate things further, I have very particular taste, so it’s a real task for me to find those rare fragrances that are both long-lasting and enjoyable enough for me to use regularly enough to warrant a full purchase.
DHC is one of those rare gems.
The scent is amazing... simple but amazing... a very realistic combination of bergamot, florals, and musk. On my skin the opening smells closer to lime; others say lemon. Either way, you will find a very realistic scent of citrus juice hovering over a floral and musky background that comes off as very masculine, yet peaceful and calming. Like a businessman on vacation in the Italian countryside. As the middle develops, the citrus and florals recede somewhat, leaving you with a very pleasant musky drydown.
As for performance, I’ve been keeping close tabs on this one, and I’m definitely getting a minimum of 8 hours on skin before it’s gone.
On clothes it lasts much longer. I am still getting whiffs of DHC from my dirty laundry that was sprayed close to 24 hours ago.
Sillage seems lighter but solid for a citrus. People can definitely smell it and I’m in no risk of bombing out a room with my aroma. Maybe that’s not to everyone’s taste, but this is how I prefer my fragrances. Close but not too close.
DHC is a very simple and versatile fragrance. If you need a lot of notes in your fragrance in order to feel that it has enough “depth” then steer clear; DHC is for those who enjoy a simple idea excuted perfectly. If you can appreciate more of a Zen-like, “less-is-more” approach to citrus-based fragrances, and DHC works with your particular skin chemistry, you will probably love this one.
10/10

MuchGoodVeryYum

Favorite summer time scent. Super cooling on my skin, smells like a very tart but sweet lemon (bergamot), with hints of woody musk in the dry down.

Have seen people complain about longevity/performance, but that hasn’t been my experience with this one. The first time I wore it into the office I was catching whiffs all day, I had sprayed my shirt once and the inside of both my elbows.

Unfortunately I’ve had a hard time getting my hands on a full, unused bottle. Highly recommend this one if you can still find it!

BalkanFragranceLover

What can i say that has not already being said.. perfection is often found in simplicity. Another SSS from Dior's Homme line.

Frack

Incredible fresh and natural smell.
This is a spring and summer scent.
If I must say something on the downside it might be that it's a little flat due to the few notes.
There are grapefruit blossom and bergamot, and a little of musk.
But it is so beautiful in it's simpleness.
A masterpiece from Dior.

eau_my_toilet

Someone said it smells like a glass of iced lemonade, and many people repeat it through power of suggestion. This does not smell like a glass of lemonade. Does your lemonade have florals and musk in it? This is just as floral and musky, as it is citrusy. The bergamot, giving the citrus note, also has a little bit of grapefruit and orange, or perhaps bitter orange (which bergamot is related to). After the citrus burns off, it is primarily a musk scent that lasts for quite a while. I do really like this one, but its not something that I want to smell like often.

QVT

An act of genius. There is a crispness to this that I’ve never smelled in another fragrance. At the same time, it has reasonable performance for a “Cologne” and the bottle is gorgeous. You can get by just fine only wearing Dior Homme and flankers, and to be honest, you probably should.

I always wait until I’ve purchased enough backups of a fragrance to last me forever before leaving a review. Dear reader, I own a liter of this, and intend to wear it daily every June until I die. Good enough.

I wonder if this has been reformulated. I first tried it at the airport a year ago and was blown away, great tart and masculine citrus, huge projection for the first hour then another 4-6 hours with a moderate bubble. Got another sample from Sephora and had a similar experience.

When I bought a full bottle though it had a strictly floral smell with zero citrus and about 10 minutes of longevity. I thought maybe I get a bad bottle from fragrancenet, so I sought out another from Sephora and had the same experience.

So dissapointing, If I could have this scent as it was when I originally tried it it would be in my top 5.

Clean Fresh Distinguished. Not the average summer citric fragrance. That Dior elegant stamp comes out on everything. My friends first words while on a trip to Cancun were. “You smell SO good. Fresh”. Before this Clinique Happy for men was my signature cologne. Formula changed unfortunately to the point it’d bother me a bit. With CD Cologne is a sure satisfaction first for myself then others

I wish they could release a EDP or Extrait version of this.

The scent is citrusy-fresh, olfactory notes: Calabrian Bergamot, Moroccan Grapefruit Blossom and White Musks. The Bergamot and Grapefruit combine together and push a juicy zesty scent,The Dior Homme bottle is a true work of art with distinguished style and timeless elegance. This fragrance is good for the spring and summer, I love it. Highly Recommended.
Two Thumbs Up.

Best way to describe Dior Homme Cologne is a cup of very cold lemonade.

Perfect for summers, especially in the high heat. I wish it lasted longer than 3-4 hours, but that won't affect my thoughts on it.
Respray and slay the day.

The Dior Homme line up is underrated for sure. This scent is fantastic, it's simple as everyone else suggests. This smells like someone has picked some freshly grown organic lemons from a tree and have crushed them and added sugar. This honestly is one of the best fresh/summer fragrances around. Considering this is a cologne, this also performs well too. I would suggest this one to people.

Three words: Iced, Zesty Lemonade. Super Simple note breakdown, but executed ever so nicely. Easy and pleasing to wear, and undoubtedly is a summer staple in every man's collection! Oh yeah, I applaud Dior for the amazing sprayer.

Some reviewers say it smells like Bergamote 22 by Le Labo, I can see that due to the citrusy nature between each other. If one wishes a similar cologne like this (EDT, of course) for a much cheaper price, and arguably better offering, look no further to Zara's Blue Hole or Vibrant Leather Cologne.

E: I agree whole-heartedly with Cassiano's review. Why wasn't this called Dior Homme SPORT Cologne, the latter would fit more with this one also being an EDT concentration. It is what it is, this one is to stay, and to leave a special place on my collection.
