Been looking for a masculine neroli scent that doesn't break the bank and has longevity for a while now, and this is perfect! I've sampled Neroli Portofino, 4711, Neroli sauvage, mandarino di Amalfi, and Aqua allegoria neroli vetiver. This beats them all by a mile.

The notes are pretty accurate. It starts out clean, citrusy, and floral but with a nice woody bitterness that pulls it away from being soapy. It has good projection and lasts for a decent while, but is not at all overbearing or intrusive to those around you. It smells like a citrus garden after the rain. After a few hours the neroli takes a back seat to cypriol and cedar, but its still fresh and pleasant

Best suited to warmer weather, but I'd gladly wear this at the office any time of year.

It's a travesty that this has been discontinued. Get a bottle while you can!

SweetPeaPea

Blind bought this based off of various reviews. Love at first sniff, but I LOVE neroli. 4711, ADP Colonia, Acqua Neroli, Neroli Portofino are a few of my favorites..Opening is wonderful but it does dry quite powdery on my skin. If you like neroli, you will love it. Just be careful not to overspray it like 4711 or you will be tasting it in your mouth. Although it is redundant, I will always have this in my collection.

RonnieDewey

This reminds me of creed original vetiver so much that I've not bought a replacement creed, also a little similar to neroli sauvage in the opening of the creed. Lovely for a nice warm sunny spring day. You could easily wear in summer and autumn/fall. At a decent price on amazon in the UK as of writing it was under £65 for 100ml

SoniMax

Smells like catp!ss but I love it. 10/10

The perfume that made me fall in love with neroli, especially in my tropical country. I enjoy wearing it while traveling by car or motorcycle, as well as in the office or for formal outdoor events. Despite having average projection and sillage, I am truly enamored with it.

#428 in my "Tour de Fragrance"

This freshie brings the citrus-neroli for sure. I'm really not getting a lot of difference from Bvlgari Aqva Amara, which I also have and which is also a neroli-forward fragrance. This is maybe a bit more citrusy and powdery, more spicy, but barely. I'd say if you own one there's no point to own both, but if I had to choose I'd choose this one mostly because I like the bottle better.

This is a better choice for neroli lovers than the Tom Ford neroli scents which are watery weak. I gave away my TF Neroli Portofino because it was such a bad performer. Both this frag and the Aqva Amara are just moderate performers at most, but that's what you get with the citrus-neroli combo. You'll definitely want to respray any fragrance in this scent category over lunch. I wouldn't choose this for cold weather, but like most freshies, it won't hold up in very high heat. I'd probably save this for temperate weather. Certainly a solid business scent that's not going to offend anyone in any setting. But not for dates or clubs.

mason2192

Blind bought this after finding a reasonable price online, and it just isn't for me.
It is a good scent, I just feel like this is for people 30 and up. Have a old school vibe to it.

jsk03

To start, I received a sample of this fragrance, and I absolutely fell in love with it! I eventually purchased a small bottle and have been using it daily.

This scent opens with prominent white floral notes, primarily neroli, accompanied by subtle citrus undertones. After 2-3 hours, you'll start to detect the warm presence of nagarmotha with a hint of eucalyptus, and it eventually dries down to a delightful woody and ambergris base.

I'd describe it as a versatile fragrance suitable for all occasions. However, in colder weather, especially during the rainy season, it can come across as overly citrusy and has even led to some sneezing for me. So, I'd recommend avoiding it in the winter.

It's unfortunate that Bvlgari has discontinued this particular fragrance. I'm actively searching for a larger bottle to stock up on this delightful scent.

Ryahya

I got curious of this after I finished my wood essence bottle, tried to decant it once & decided to get a small 15 ml bottle. It smelled linear & kinda ok but I decided I'm not going to buy the full bottle of it. I find the white floral notes is a bit too strong, probably amplified by the amber/woody notes?? i'll just enjoy my 15 ml bottle for now see if I changed my mind.

shadaroba

Woman here. I love to wear this fragrance. Alberto Morillas is one of my favorites and I think he did a very good job here. The fragrance is linear, yes, but sometimes you just want to spray something that is not super complicated. This is fresh and sophisticated. Good lasting power. If you like neroli, I think it's a safe blind buy. You won't be disappointed.

parahumo

It is kind of a boring fragrance. The first few times I used it it was neither there nor here. Blah. I had to spray a lot to finally appreciate the drydown.

j.andresminor

Fresh floral, orangery, i middly liked it but it's lineal and goes more like a female scent, thats not the problem, it is a bit simple for my taste. 5/10

Odor Aeternitatis

For this one, the artificial intelligence of the fragrantica works well. Read the pros and cons up there and it's almost everything you need to know.
The longevity is good. The neroli used in this fragrance is not a real neroli essential oil it's an accord of neroli from a synthetic ingredient that smells more petitgrain (the leaf of the neroli tree). It's not a very deep or complex fragrance. It's overall an uplifting, mass-pleasing, and fresh fragrance. It is especially good for the spring.

woomanmoomin

Blind buy, partly motivated by the fact that I like the restraint and relative simplicity of many Morillas scents and that I have some positive experience of Bvlgari, and Morillas's work with the house.

Wore it yesterday, as the one Englishman in a typically seedy Scottish pub (open early), to watch the Lionesses beat the Matildas to reach the final of the FIFA Women's World Cup. (Sorry, Matildas. Well played.) It was set to be a clear, moderately warm summer's day, and I wanted a fragrance that was fresh and summery but wouldn't draw the ridicule that Scots understandably love to heap on us English. I ended up choosing this over a fair few other options, because it was obviously fresh and smelt clean and professional on the air without being a one-dimensional lemon sherbet freshie (and anyway it was new).

So far, although, yes, the spray nozzle feels fragile, I really like this. It has plenty of lean Mediterranean-style citrus and, although I'm not a big fan of aquatics, I do like a good ambergris accord--why I almost wore Issey Intense instead--and the one here really appeals to me. I get why some people might find it out of place here, but it is not a heavy or dirty ambergris and I find it works very well in underpinning the citrus with a different kind of freshness or marine tang that to me does not seem out of place in a fragrance that is very obviously Mediterranean (semi-barbershop) in style.

I haven't yet discerned a whole lot of other individual notes (except maybe the soft musk) in this but I'm fine with that, as it's a typical Morillas fragrance in the respect that, while the other notes are doubtless there--this does smell woody too and is no thin, toppy citrus bomb--pretty much everything is done in moderation so the user wears the fragrance and not vice versa.

Performance, or at any rate sillage, is moderate--again, that's often how Morillas rolls--and I chose to mist (not squirt) my T-shirt with this once, and to walk through a mist of it on the air a couple of times before putting on the T-shirt. (If this is a level of restraint alien to you--if you're the kind of user inclined to spray yourself directly, liberally, until the swarthy chest hair medallion guy down the street screams at you or has some kind of convincing seizure--then Morillas creations such as this may not all be for you.) The citrus and the ambergris accord are still noticeable on the T-shirt almost twenty hours later. Actually I can still smell this on myself.

cyung

A blind buy that exceeded my expectations. Smells like a combination of Bvlgari Wood Essence and Tom Ford Neroli Portofino minus the sweetness of the former and some of the notes/complexity of the latter. It is less synthetic than Wood Essence and also has much better performance on my skin (average vs poor). I feel that the neroli actually accentuates the woody notes and the citrus helps keep it fresh. There is a slight creaminess and also a nice warmth. Reminds me of a 25-35 year old man working in the office which is perfect for me. A bit sad that it was discontinued but layering Wood Essence and Neroli Portofino gave me similar results. Dry down is very close to TFNP. Overall a great office scent for moderate to warm weather.

frankcoelho

Blind buy safe!
I am not much of a spring/summer fragrance guy, as living in colder weather areas has been my thing for the last 8+ years. However, this spring I got more into fragrances and this was super hyped and I really had good feedback from some people on it. BOUGH IT without questioning.
This smells AMAZING! Love the bottle, the presentation, the scent truly is a daily one, particularly for warmer weather, though the sweetness may give it a fall vibe for the early days of fall. The sprayer/atomizer, however, is the worst in my collection.
Buy it, gift it, and wear it for reenergizing/being happy. This is very enjoyable and a killer under the sun! Price per mL is also great on it. Got mine for right around $50.

WizBusiness

I liked this for about 20 minutes, and then all I could smell was Bengay. The association has ruined this fragrance for me. It's all I can think of when I smell this.

bnard893

I was hoping this would be a decent alternative to Neroli Portifino because of the comparisons, but it basically has a nice and similar opening, and then just smells like ambroxan after that. At least for me, ambroxan is incredibly abrasive and overpowering, and gives me a headache, so anything heavy with it is a non-starter.

Cherryzaad

Super high class smelling. Fresh spicy floral with citrus. Reminds me of Clive christian etc.

Longevity is terrible. Mine lasts like 2 hours then it becomes a linear skin scent.

Bakedkalechips

Fresh, clean, soapy, spicy, citrusy/orange is what my nose picks up on initial spray. In the opening it reminds me of something like a zest soap bar with lots of orange essence. In the dry down all I'm picking up on is musk. I think this is a really safe blind buy, very inoffensive and easy to wear. Longevity is great on my skin, easily getting 6 hrs. Sillage is pretty good for the first 2-3 hrs and then the remainder of the time it sits closer to the skin. When I wear this to work and begin sweating it seems to project quite a bit more, so this would be great as an outdoor summer scent, but I believe it works in most situations throughout spring and summer. To me Mancera Cedrat Boise is a good alternative if you want something a little more interesting. Both have a nice citrusy/spicy opening, but Cedrat has a smokiness to it, and is woody in the drydown as opposed to musky like Wood Neroli. Nonetheless, this is a great scent, by a master perfumer, and one that I will continue to wear. Also take this review with a grain of salt, because I have no clue what I'm talking about. I'm just a guy who likes to buy fragrances. These opinions are only based on what my nose can pick up on, and the way the fragrance works with my particular body chemistry.

PapaTLooch

Boring abrasive Ambroxan drydown. Smells cheap and pedestrian.

Jeffscents

Costco has Bvlgari Man Wood Neroli Eau de Parfum, 3.4 fl oz, on sale for $49.99 right now. Amazon has it for $60. You can buy from either of those, since it's discontinued directly from Bvlgari

received from bvlgari today

Mr.,

Thank you for contacting Bulgari.

I am sorry to announce that Bulgari Wood Neroli is not in production anymore and is not available to purchase anymore.

As an alternative I would recommend the perfume Bulgari Man Wood Essence, It is from the same collection and they have few similar ingredient like citrus, fresh spicy, aromatic, and woody.

For our perfumes we sell them through authorized retailers not directly on our website.

Bear Claws

Very simplistic and linear woody citrus cologne, old school vibes, mature vibes. If I had to blind guess what year this is from I would say the 90's. If you are a youthful person you should steer clear of this. Read the notes, it's very accurate palette.

Steve907

I would have appreciated more leather and musk to balance this out. As is, in the words of Scott Hall and Kevin Nash, it's just too sweet. And with the amount of sour it makes a mix that's on the edge of being nauseating for me. But don't get me wrong the texture and the weight of the fragrance is absolutely perfect. It's just the scent that needs tweaking in my opinion. At 80° F this was very nice to wear, almost cooling. If Bvlgari can get a mix this nice, maybe I need to check out their other stuff. Put it on around 7 or 8 pm, still smelling it in the morning. Unisex for sure. Perfect for spring/summer.

mcanter123116

Overall I do really enjoy this fragrance. I get mostly citrus and florals and not really a ton of wood which is fine but to me it is more like fresh/unisex than woody masculine. The only downside to me is you can get some whafts reminiscent of bug spray.

Scotty123

Discontinuing this scent was a terrible choice by Bulgari! This is one of the most underrated summer freshies there is.

Old School Tie

Ok, first wearing this year and since last summer. 10 hours after application and still noticeable, enough for me to have to spray more of this to go out this evening rather than use something else.

DiegoGR02

Dude at the bottom is getting 11 hours with this fragrance, did he bought the niche version? I've tried this several times (like 10) and it lasts 5 to 6 hours at max. It's very pleasant and elegant but before the second hour the sillage decreases and on the third one is a skin scent.Be careful when buying this line, the spray sometimes doesn't work. Btw Wood Neroli is a good fragrance for Spring and summer, very uplifting.

Owen Witabi

Great neroli fragrance, lasts super long. Sprayed on clothes and was still consistently getting whiffs after 11 hours. Fragrance is linear for the most part and I can see the comparison between the Tom Ford, much more affordable too. My wife gives this double thumbs up.

Trueblood84

I absolutely love a good neroli fragrance, this one is very similar to Neroli portofino in the opening. It is slightly brighter smelling and lasts longer. However deep in the drydown it gets soapy smelling which doesn't bother me, I've actually gotten more compliments from the drydown as people tend to think I just showered with an expensive soap, and often ask what brand of soap I use... I love these type of compliments because when I get a compliment on a traditional perfume I get afraid I over sprayed so the compliment usually has me insecure after, but I have no problem with someone asking what soap I use, it makes me feel like I properly applied the fragrance as I feel subtlety is best in perfumery. Overall id give this an 8/10 as it's not bringing anything new to the table but performance is great and scent profile is top notch.

kinlyfe

i'm a woman and wearing this perfume, opens with fresh bright flowers and citrus. and little bit sweet woody on the drydown. i got so many compliments. and all of people asking me what am i wearing, and they're shock for the fact that i'm wearing this. been my signature scent for 2 years. Women can rock this perfume. prefer this than TF Neroli portofino

CajunSmurf

Just received this one Saturday, as a recommendation from a youtube channel. I must say I was impressed. It smells fresh and green and woodsy. Like I'm out in a forest with tress. Maybe that's just me.

Wacaz

Using and loving it for a year now, almost.
After using many genres of frags including frag head's favourites, i think i am coming back to those frags who are simple, yet different and classic. This is one of them.
For me, it is best white floral for men. A friend told me that he just to follow my footsteps to catch its smell in the air.
It is neroli and citrus (light) sitting on some soft wood. Amazing. Lasting and projection has improved with time and i am surely getting a backup bottle along with Dunhill Icon.

Like getting punched in the face by sour bergamot, plus it barely projects and doesn’t last much more than two hours.

northtexasguitarlicks

For me it's one of the best mens fragrances ever. Classy, soft, elegance in all stages. Like it was tailor made for my skin.

mohamed badr

من الاخر كده للعاوز يعرف الرائحه قبل ما يشتريه عرفين كلونيا ٥٥٥٥٥ اه نعم اقصد ال انت فهمته ده نفس الريحه بالظبط وثبات جيد فوحان متوسط

Leonhk

Going to have to give this one some time. I think I'm going to get to like it, but right now all I can smell is Brylcreem that my dad used to use every day. Not yet 100% convinced I want to smell like my dad's hair.

DapperDon

Where’s the wood?
So apparently this is the 1st time I’ve encountered a ‘sweet’ neroli note in fragrances. Even though this sweeter note/ blend is pleasant to the masses, it is far from the traditional clean & uplifting neroli smell I was expecting. I agree the opening is heavily unisex. I’m getting Colonia Club & Beach Hut Man vibes in this opening.. like there’s a mint/ patchouli mix going on. A well blended fragrance for sure. 6hrs later & the scent is linear. I wish the Cedar was amplified to lean the scent in a majority masculine direction, there is practically no woods.

gbreier10s

I actually managed to pick up a bottle without a box for 12$. This is a good, inoffensive scent that has versatility. You can dress it up or down. Nothing mind blowing to me but I do thoroughly enjoy it. It is winter where I living and this is 100% a warm weather scent so I’m hoping come spring and summer it truly shines

Bergamet

It's becoming increasingly apparent to me that when it comes to affordable vs. expensive fragrances, you're usually paying for the dry down. This is actually a really nice scent when it opens, right up until the final stages when all the pleasant top and mid notes have dissipated. The base notes really don't work for me, I'm getting an unpleasant aquatic/ marine vibe from the ambergris accord.

testrluv

Synthetically sweet neroli and white florals. Bright opening. Gets a bit woodier in the dry down. Linear, but quite uplifting for my mood. I feel it fits an energetic, outgoing personality.

6.5/10 for me.

Tacosalad

Found a 3.4 bottle at Marshall’s for 30 bucks and knowing it’s discontinued I bought it and am wearing it now. Have to say it’s quite nice and seems like it would be a great work fragrance in the summertime. Reminds me of a more citrus Prada Amber. The neroli is short lived and seems to fade out in first couple hours. The mid turns to a milled soap clean feel. The orange blossom and juicy bergamot is the brightness and star of the scent. The cedar is weak with a touch of musk in dry down but remains soapy fresh. I get no leather at all. Looking forward to warm weather to test appropriately. Would say it’s a mass pleasing scent for sure. For a neroli scent it has a more youthful smell than I expected. Would say late 20's and up is fine to wear. Doesn't last very long but does have good silage for a few hours even in winter. Hoping it will be better performer in the heat of spring and summer.
Update:Summer heat turns this up a notch and I can smell up to 6 or 7 hours after application
8/10

Jmac88

Soapy citrus with wood in the dry down. Good for office or casual wear

jeucemcgeuce

To me, it's floral, cedar in the foreground with just the right touch of juicy citrus in the background—crispy, fresh, and ever so slightly sweet.

I got it at a rack store for $80—a blind buy. I am not disappointed at all. I feel like this scent is more likely to be appreciated by persons in their late 20s and older—a sophisticated fragrance for the warmer parts of the year.

8/10

Edit: I agree with the comparison made with Tom Ford Neroli Portofino. That one is not as complex of a scent and more focused on the Neroli.

Ash_H

一開場就是很明顯的橙花油衝出來,
佛手柑緊隨其後,
橙花微微芳香
清新綠意讓人非常舒服,

與存在感強的皂感麝香

中規中矩,蠻適合香水新手的

Cullin

Really nice neroli and smooth bergamot in the top. Smells really good until the top is gone and this starts to lose its appeal. Total performance was like 4 hours or something. Too sad the neroli and the heavenly citrusy top doesn't last more than an hour.. becomes quite boring when it's drying into middle/base. Performance could be better. I still give it 7/10.

Spinaltap

Picked this up on a whim on the cheap because I knew it would be harder to get in the future and I was hoping for a dumb reach freshie. This was a pleasant surprise. I’m new to fragrance community, so when someone says something is “well blended” I usually just nod and smile cause I have no idea what that really means. With this, I’m starting to understand. This is a great balance of smooth wood, citrus and unisex floral. It also isn’t too unisex or too aggressively brut man but a good balance of that. I’m very pleased with this and will enjoy using this.

mikeypodd06

Classy and refined. Probably not going to be a compliment monster or anything but to me that stuff is for kids. This is for a man in his 30s or 40s with a well paying job and a family.

Mor3fir3

The opening is brilliant. Very citrusy and moves quite a lot in the air. The dry down is very nice. Citrus, floral and woody.

JmThms

Bvlgari Man Wood Neroli is not a bad fragrance - it's pretty good, but its immediately apparent that cheaper ingredients were used. I thumbed down several "This perfume reminds me of...." fragrances, including Ferrari Bright Neroli. Both this and the Ferrari use cheaper oils, but Alberto Morallis did a much better blending and composition job on Bvlgari Man Wood Neroli. I thumbed down the Floris Neroli Voyage comparison too. Neroli Voyage uses higher quality ingredients and is a better neroli frag in my opinion. Also, Bvlgari Pour Homme Extreme from 1999 is a far better Wood and Neroli fragrance than this Man Wood Neroli. But Man Wood Neroli is pretty good.

Danitom

I like it. Summer fragrance. It's very lemony and kinda soapy. Gives me a "4711" vibe on drydown. It's good for a citrusy fragrance (which I usually like). Worth purchasing for about $50 or $60 for a 100ml, if you can still find a bottle (now discontinued). Not really worth blowing big bucks on this on Ebay. Many other better citrus fragrances out there.

Catacal

So its a citrusy white floral. Very clean very fresh sort of scent. White florals that I've tried out are usually women's ones with a sweeter sort of ping but this one like like freshly cut wood with the sap oozing out. This one I could probably see myself recommending for a freshie floral thats not crazy sweet.

HecateZeusIsis

Obsessed with this one, I sometimes steal it from my Dad's stash hehe...it's like catnip to me and completely unisex

PLK

The opening is mind blowing if you enjoy neroli, mouth watering soapy lemon and neroli.
Too bad the woods in the dry down don't quite do it for me.

La Nuit Noir

Classic citrus clean scent! Modernised neroli.

Opens with a beautiful blend of citrus - a timeless mix of neroli, orange blossom, and bergamot.

Mainly light crisp citrus with a surrounding clean soapiness, but not as soapy clean as many other old-fashioned neroli style fragrances.

A subtle hint of cypriol oil and very light smooth woods in the base.

Sadly discontinued, massively overlooked for how great this is - so absolutely pick it up if you can, it was a solid price when in production but the prices still don't seem to have raised too much.

MzRe

It's ok but not the best from Bvlgari

SaturnsOrbit

This is an almost perfect modern rendition of that classic citrus/neroli DNA. It's fresh, bright, and easy to wear in the warm months. My only issue is that there is a very slight harshness in the opening that I had to get used to. The main point of comparison I have within my collection is John Varvatos Artisan Pure. They smell very similar, with JV being slightly more citrusy and smooth overall. But Wood Neroli makes up for it in being a much stronger performer (I get 5-6 hours compared to JV's 1-2).

I won't say its particularly unique, as its one take on a scent profile that's been going strong forever. But it's a really good take overall.

TRhodes89

I’d say Alberto Morillas really got it right with this one, as Wood Neroli is way better than Neroli Portofino in my humble opinion and I generally enjoy Tom Ford’s stuff. Tested this in a perfume store on a Princess cruise ship to Alaska and immediately fell in love with it. The Neroli & bergamot are prominent in the opening but upon drying down the bergamot dissipates and I’m left with this beautiful lightly sweet, honeyed floral, creamy, musky, maybe lightly soapy Neroli & orange blossom scent. I didn’t even know I loved Neroli at the time, so that really speaks volumes in my opinion as to how good this is. To me, at no point is this ever harsh or cloying, just a clean, smooth, sweet, creamy, musky neroli. As a guy I find this definitely unisex but maybe leaning a bit masculine although any woman could easily pull this one off and smell incredible. If I smelled this on a woman I’d certainly ask what she was wearing & comment that she smelled wonderful. Fantastic fragrance, wish they made a parfum version that lasted a bit longer although I do get a solid 6+ hrs of performance while it lasts even longer on my clothing. Fantastic scent across the board!

derby2169

A clear and robust neroli accord, a bit on the harsh side, almost a bit cloying like an ylang yland accord together with well... wood notes. However it retains a strange purity on my skin without becoming a synthetic mess so I do give it some credit for that.

At the end of the day it is just an obvious neroli accord over woods so it doesn't really do much for me, but it might do more for you.

rajfly

I bought based on some of the positive reviews but while I really like the scent, performance is very weak. I can barely smell it after an hour. Makes Eau Sauvage seem positively beastly. Shame.

tvlampboy

Well crafted, but too heavy on the neroli for my tastes.

Pleasant but often cloying

TheWoodman

Unfortunately another grea and nicely priced frag that has been reformulated and , although it has near enough the same smell, it does not last long. I am not going to get to the semantics as i just buy frags i like and not to impress, i have maybe 6-7 that i use for special occasions and due to price. This was daisy fresh and lifted ones mood and for at least 6 hours, the last bottle up bought was 6 months ago and i have to spray a lot of it, to have it noticeable when out, i take a 5ml top up.
I hear ut’s being or been discontinued so i guess Bvlgari know it’s not what it was. Such a shame so many cannot leave what was a truly wonderful and fresh frag alone. Nice bottle.

Fantastic fragrances. Exceptionally long lasting, and beatiful male smell. Best Negroli fragrance I've had so far. I've mostly stuck to fresh, clean frangrances. This frangrance is a good transition into woody fragrances. I wore it for 7h then took a shower and was suprised to find that the frangrances hasnt left. You smell the fragrance randomly. Sometimes you think it has left you're skin just to hit you w a beatiful aroma. Obviously this woody fragrance will hold up longer than a fresh fragrance, but still, expceptional even for it's category. Very happy, will buy again. Right now it's the number one fragrance in my collection.

darlenemaxwell4

As a rather flamboyant man desperately clinging to the end of his youth, this scent came on just a tad more mascualine and mature than I thought a neroli based fragrance would. That said I get a lot of compliments every time I wear it, and it has pretty good legs.

This rocks in the heat, very realistic natural feeling neroli opening. If you’ve never smelled a blooming citrus tree, do that - it’s amazing. 20min of citrus zinged white flowers leading into a similar base as DH 2020. Sweet fuzzy woods, but this keeps the florals from the open while DH keeps it’s citrus.

Longevity and projection are pretty decent in the heat for this scent profile. I spray heavy (double sprays in same spot(s)) and get all day run. I see it’s discontinued, so I’m happy I got my bottle for ~$45. The 100ml sprayer is trash. I do grip strength work & if I don’t consciously rip the sprayer I get weak squirts. Bottle is heavy, masculine & looks great.

I get DH 2020 & Versace Pour Homme love child vibes from this. DH for summer. VPH but more serious.

Len1990

I'm very lucky to purchased it in a very good price recently. Clean, citrusy and slightly soapy. Definitely worth owning it. Amazing scent.

Old School Tie

Yes, discontinued.

francois75

This fragrance is not listed on the Bulgari website. Has it been discontinued already? I LOVE this fragrance.. especially for hot climate like South Florida.

gucciguccigoo

TF Neroli Portofino and NP Aqua are two of my go to summer scents. This will join them going forward. It does come off a bit different as it has something a bit soapy going on a la Prada luna rossa. You cant go wrong with this one at all.

vorachoom

Opens up nicely with clean neroli just like how 4711 smells. On my skin it fades into a full-body sharp yet clean woody with a hint of that clean neroli within 2 hours. Projection is not strong at all, it's soft and light but certainly there to be noticed. It is not loud and powerful but to me and my work environment where close encounter is my daily basis this fragrance won't smack into others' face and get offended. I got around 7-8 hours of total performance. Not bad at all but not my #1 neroli fragrance of all time.

Qlnmu

I love the smell, just wish it projected for longer. I get about two hours of scent bubble after which it becomes a more intimate skin scent. Shame this was discontinued rather than reformulated! Will definitely be exploring more neroli fragrances, such an elegant floral note.

SmellyDoc

Great fresh scent. The white florals are not too strong and just come off as "clean". Reminds when jasmine and honeysuckle are blooming outside. However, longevity is a problem. After about 2-3 hours it is gone!

Projection is really just about arm's length for me. Overall a nice fresh summer/spring fragrance for 2-3 hours.

toumingmagazineforever

I grabbed myself a bottle since I heard it has been discontinued. Unfortunately my skin dosen't go along with white florals and it radiates like crazy on my skin. So be wary about that if you aren't into white florals or you have a hotter skin like me. I neither loved it or hate it, but as a collector piece it is at least unique enough to justify a place on my shelf. I'll give it a few more days and see if I would appreciate it more.

PaulieR

Smells like you just stepped out of the shower.

vrapjr123

THIS HAS BEEN DISCOUNTED!! SO COP WHILE YOU CAN!!

yousif_dia

Neroli,Citrus, woods, nothing new for me just an ordinary citrusy smell

ohlookataco

I want to like this more, but I can't stop thinking how this kind of smells like a urinal cake D: is this what the pisser smells like in heaven?

Bokitza

Soapy, clean, long lasting, luxury hotel lobby smell, expensive soap etc..

If any of these things sound interesting to you, i URGE you to try it out, perfectly priced (i paid 55e for 100ml) and one of few Alberto Morilas fragrances that are not lacking in the performance department.

Top is amazing neroli scent, lasts 20minutes on me, love smelling it

Mid is similar to top but more soapy, reminds me of really good quality soap and that smell you get while scrubbing yourself with it in the shower.

Base notes i really don't smell any leather whatsoever, to me base which comes after 5-6 hours is a skin scent that smells like lemony woods, pine needles (very fresh baby ones) and not much else.

If you are like me and are looking for a fresh summer scent to replace some old ones, i used versace pour homme, aqva amara (still plan to use that one tho) , dior homme cologne. This is a perfect thing to throw in stead of those, i am writing this on a cloudy 19 degrees celsius day (57F) so i can't wait to wear this out when it's scorching hot and have it project around me.

Price 8.5/10
Uniqueness 7.5/10
Smell 10/10
Versatility 5/10 (only wear it two seasons, scent doesn't make sense to be worn in cold weather)

Do you NEED this?
Yes and No

Yes- If you are searching for a fragrance similar to this, i would say it's top of it's class, really because of the quality and performance.
No- If you own neroli portofino, maybe prada l homme, things like that and if you dislike soapy fresh scents. Oh and of course if you don't like neroli, there's a bunch of it off the top.

d00dster

This is the best neroli scented fragrance I've smelled, and it doesn't cost much. I used to make my own essential oil blends for personal scent before i got into designer and niche fragrances. I always enjoyed using neroli, and this has a very nice neroli smell, almost like it is candied a bit. If you like neroli at all, this is definitely worth sampling at very least.

the_chandler

It's honestly kind of weird that vetiver isn't mentioned as a note at all. This opens with Neroli and bergamot but it doesn't take long before that dissipates and it settles into something more clean and soapy. The dry down is heavy with vetiver. Still, very clean. It's like it opens with TF Neroli Portofino, turns into Versace Pour Homme and then settles into Creed Original Vetiver. It's a chameleon. A Swiss army knife of a fragrance. Honestly, you could probably get away with wearing this about any time, but it's not going to blow anyone's socks off, and it's not a replacement for ant of the aforementioned fragrances.

Mountain_Man

I’m on a huge Neroli kick right now. It’s my note of choice for spring and summer. Oddly, I’ve never been a floral note lover until I smelled TF Neroli Portofino. And while I paid the absurd price for that perfume, I couldn’t help but think that there had to be a less expensive and more masculine alternative. Well, folks… this is it! I get that opening of clean soapy freshness with the Wood Neroli, but there’s an edge to it that the TF can’t quite reach. The dry-down still carries that fresh floral and citrus with it, but it meets those woody, warm, and masculine base notes so well. Definitely a must for the heat of summer.

vrapjr123

It’s alright for what’s it’s priced for.

robertandsheilaburke

This one surprised me. It has a spring smell and what I mean by that is, the smell spring when the flowers are blooming everywhere, the sweetness in the air is captured in this fragrance. I am not saying it smells like a specific flower, but more like the air on a spring morning with a combination of all the flowers and wood. I remember when I was a kid when the dogwood trees would come into bloom, this is what I remember. The wood dry down It is a masculine scent. It is hard to describe. It is a dude walking in the meadow in the height of the spring bloom. Lovely smell with a very masculine dry down.

vkg

I've had it for 5 months now. I find it very weak. The opening is ok. However, in the dry-down is not special. The batch-code that I have 10J96DA1.

Better than Tom Ford's Nerolino Portfofinfo

Ecafnaem38

Got a travel size been wearing it sleep because it’s so comforting clean and refreshing. I’m going to have to check out Tom ford Neroli next time to compare: I have a large collection but this is my first time smelling Neroli that I know of. Between this and man in black, I’m impressed with blvgari I’m going to have to check out the rest of their scents.

p8tro

Opens with a neroli blast that is very strong, then fades to woods and sea notes over the next 1-2 hours. The woods then fade over the next 2-4 leaving amber and ambergris in the base, giving a nice, soapy, and sexy feel feel for the rest of the life of the fragrance.

Honestly a great daytime vacation or trip scent, perfect for when you have a day at the pool and you are going out for drinks afterwards, also is great in that as the life of it goes on it gets more "safe" while still appealing. Also will give you no problems if you want to wear a different scent over top after a few hours, especially if that scent can benefit from an amb/er/gris/broxan type smell added to it.

Definitely gonna be in my Spring/Summer rotation and I could see it even be utilized on nice sunny Fall days. Solid Fragrance.

washudtoj

I love Bvlgari. And I love citrus.

But I am not a fan of neroli.

Neroli turns sour on my skin. For this reason, I prefer Man Wood Essence.

I wish neroli didn't go sour though, because the fragrance does smell nice otherwise.

In the room where I sprayed it, it smells pretty great, like the smell of a luxurious hotel lobby.

To the person who says this smells like Lacoste White... um... no, it doesn't. I'd say it's a younger (and less sophisticated) version of Bottega Veneta Illusione for Men.

If you are a fan of neroli, don't miss out on this.

AusR

This is an absolute GEM. I am a fan of fresh and citrusy fragrances and this one has completely blown me away. I get a strong bergamot on the opening (alongside the neroli) that dries down beautifully into a more musky amber feel. If you are looking for a masculine, woody bergamot scent, you MUST give this a try!

9.5/10!

GetGUD

I can't speak of the sillage or longevity of this as I just bought it, but this is the kind of Spring & Summer freshie that I can totally get behind. It's mature/grown up, fresh but not aquatic (as I'm not a Blue kinda guy). I'm also fairly new to fragrances & collecting but here it goes...

I'm not a Blue fresh scents kinda guy. I've smelled so very few that actually excite & entice me, which is what made me search out something that isn't a typical fresh one. This is so fresh & inviting but at least to me (and my fairly untrained nose) is pretty unique. It's classy, refined with a little bit of "playfulness" (though I don't know if that's the exact word I want) & all the way through, retaining its class/sophistication/masculinity but in a much different way than the sweet floral citrusy way it started off. I'm not totally in love with this as my heart always goes towards the sweet/gourmand scents of Autumn & Winter, but I do need some that work in warmer weather, and this is most definitely one of those that I'll be reaching for when that time comes.

Very happy and impressed with this purchase.

discoversherpes

This is not good. I blind bought a bottle I saw at a great price after reading all the reviews, but they are pretty misleading (as with most designer fragrance consensus on Fragrantica).

It smells a bit like if you took Bvlgari Man Extreme, took away its interesting facets, and added a big blast of generic mall fragrance neroli up top, and some screechy synthetic woods and musk in the base. It is pedestrian and poorly blended. The opening is a bit like a cousin of Versace Pour Homme.

It's unfortunate that this shares the name of perfumes such as the original Man and Man In Black, which are both great fragrances.

stephen.redeker

Bulgari Man Wood Neroli is a wonderful fresh floral fragrance for spring and summer. It opens with a blast of neroli, which is a white floral scent. It shortly dries down to a fresh woody scent. I don't get great performance from this one. I wish the neroli would last longer, but it fades quickly. What's left is nice and subtle. In this category I would rather wear Lacoste White or Fleur Du Male, which is a godly, truly beast mode neroli fragrance.

nsanti2829

I am in Neroli Heaven! I absolutely love this cologne. Projects a good three feet away in the first hour and lasts about three to four hours on my skin. My wife loves this on me, and is a must-have Summer freshie.

Anabol2336

Best Bulgari fragrance since Aqua Amara. Like many have said it's basically a Neroli Portofino clone for a fraction of the price of the Tom Ford and excellent performance which Neroli Portofino was seriously lacking. Great release.

AKIIV

I bought it when I was hunting for a summer/spring perfume, this was a different perfume from the bunch I tested, the opening is great, but fades quick, very quick indeed, but still I enjoy the woody vibe after the opening. was contemplating on whether I keep this one or not, I decided to keep it

NoseE

mild neroli opening fades quickly and citrs note combined with poking note of all the base notes stays on. nothing special. many similar smelling citrus fragrances. Not a Neroli fragrance since it is only a top and opening brief note.

SAMPSODX

ABSOLUTE BEAST!

I absolutely love this fragrance. Performs better than half of my niche fragrances.

Lovely strong hit of fresh neroli on the opening, that dries down to a neroli scent with a slight woody smokiness.

Opening 10/10
Projection 8/10

Check the vetiverol in Mugler's Cologne, amp it up, make it more complex. Bottom line: it would be nice if it where not for the synthetic nuances.

Strong opening (neroli), and I'd better say, quick neroli (20minutes) and a lot of wooooooooood (320 minutes). I wish it was the other way around.
In general, it is a beautiful perfume. But if you're looking for Neroli, you will find it only at the beginning and after that, the wood note is more bold.

After going niche, designer freshies always come off as sharp, harsh and unrefined. But oh lawd has this one taken me back, it's so fresh woody, slightly piney and smokey. It's not qute old man piney like 'pino', but more of a fresh spicy take.
10/10 for the price, only regret is I wish my chemist had 100ml in stock rather than just the 60.

bleukreuz

Wowee this is a neroli overdose. Very strong and quite long lasting. It's certainly nice smelling and most people will like this, just like I instantly liked this on first smell. If it weren't headache inducing due to its own strength I would have worn this more often. For me this needs to be worn on cooler weather, though I wouldn't be averse to smell this on other people on hot summer day.

MarkoPeeko

Wow. As close to Tom Ford’s NP as you’ll get (IMO). I recently picked up a 50ml bottle of TFNP for a daft price ($130 AUD). Thought I was Billy big bollocks until I grabbed a bottle of this today on sale from a local chemist.

Fantastic summer scent. Can’t add much to what’s been said below, apart from the longevity may be as good as TFNP. That stuff comes alive on my skin and lasts 7-8 hours for some reason. I’ve a feel this’ll do the same.

Will report back. 4.5/5 easily. Grab a bottle.

Irvdaman15$

Smells like eternity by Calvin Klein, but with a nice touch of neroli and floral. Overall great.

doniking

I had artisan pure and this perfume reminds me of it. But i love this better than artisan pure.

Wacaz

Testing it and loving it. Neroli with citruses is very pleasant for me. May get a full bottle.

Zaca

Quite simply the best neroli under $100 - and punches well above its weight against other more expensive neroli-centric fragrances (e.g. Neroli Portofino)

Essentially a neroli soliflore with a woody backbone, the neroli here is sweet but with a sharp, bitter - almost salty - edge. It has a ‘wet’ feeling and when combined with the saltiness, gives it the mineral amber feel. Soapy and clean.

Projection is good and longevity excellent. Yep, it’s a men’s fragrance, but if you’re a woman and after a neroli fragrance without the frippery - you’ll love this.

(P.S. I understand Bvlgari is Italian so there may be something lost in translation, but the name leaves something to be desired… 'Man Wood Neroli' makes me think of a man waking up with an erection on a Sunday morning with a bitter orange tree blooming in the garden outside. God only knows what Man Wood Essence brings to mind! An unnecessary comment, I know, but the Bvlgari Man Wood and Guerlain L’Homme Ideal lines get my vote for most cringe-worthy names)

DrNDJas

The scent itself is quite simple but very good. Neroli is the obvious star with supporting piny and woody notes. Listed leather and amber notes are pure fiction. Like many Bvlgari fresh fragrances, durability is subpar. Wood Neroli just doesn’t have any legs, dying down to a whimpering skin-scent quickly and trailing off from there. Good fragrance, pitiful performance. Falls in the “what could have been” category. So very sad.

Jerre

Its a "green" scent and that isn't a bad thing at all. I get a super clean shower gel, orange citrus, vetiver that is very nose pleasing. It is a happy scent. Lively and fresh. It being a citrus scent it is made for warmer months so don't expect super longevity..or at least realize you will go nose blind to it in short time. Others will smell it on you for hours. Bees will love you and follow you everywhere.. It really is a very nice smell and is relaxing. Casual wear type frag. Not for business or meetings. Just hanging out, shopping, errands. Overall I give it a 7/10. Layer it with Carlo Corinto (Corinto) for extra boost and extra longevity as they compliment each other very well.

Luxfare

First time I smelled it I wasn’t blown away, yea it smelled different but I wasn’t too impressed. Then I tried it again a week or so later and grew to admire just how amazing this scent actually is. It’s a strong citrus/ Neroli/ woody/ soapy fragrance that gives good longevity. I’ve never smelled anything like it, it’s a solid 8.5/10 fragrance and at a very decent price.

ADB1

Currently sat on a beach in Cyprus wearing this. I keep switching between this and Mandarino Di Amalfi Acqua. Both smell like holiday in a bottle. Got 60mls for £39 but 100ml is available for £49. Performance and longevity with me is pretty decent, especially at this price point. I imagine I spray a lot more than other people might, so after 30mins of smelling like an explosion at a Neroli refinery I still end up with something that performs well. Fantastic smelling summer scent for me. 4/5. Sprayer is terrible, there are no half sprays with this, all or nothing.

TheSniffer

Nice soft Neroli, citrusy, woodsy opening. Doesn’t really jump out with the same sort of floral brightness of a lot of other neroli fragrances I’ve tried, it’s a bit more subtle and mixed in with the other notes. Definitely has a Mugler Cologne vibe, but again, not quite as zesty fresh, more soft clean woodsy fresh. The opening itself really is quite lovely and interesting.

Performance though, is pretty poor, and unfortunately it’s all downhill after the opening. For me the lovely opening of this goes away after about 30 mins or so and from then on you get a very faint and uninspiring woodsy, musky skin scent that doesn’t project much at all.

Shame that the opening doesn’t last longer or punch more, because it really is a fantastic opening. I guess since this stuff can be found for pretty cheap it’s not a bad deal if you enjoy that opening and just want to keep reapplying, but personally I wasn’t blown away by the overall experience, and I think there are nicer, longer lasting Neroli based fragrances than this one.

User Rithacha really hit the nail on the head. Gorgeous opening, but it’s all downhill quickly from there.

Edri Tirane

People who said it is long lasting don't understand nothing about longevity. Yes ,it smells amazing but only for some minutes after that it disappears. No woods here.... Is this an edp ??? Nooooo

nattonline

Having neroli makes me think that this would be very unisex but I was wrong. It’s still very much masculine scent but perhaps a but softer side. Not brash, not overly heavy. Totally could swing it all year long.

MAKSTR

Neroli citrus wood and amber picked up by my nose, OK scent but I won't buy again after I finish this bottle.
Lasted for about 3 hrs.
To me it's not a very refreshing fragrance, kinda sad feeling scent, only the neroli and citrus note make it wearable.
Scent 6/10
Sillage 6/10
Longevity 5/10
Value 6/10

Trung

This is a neroli dominated frags. Can say it is Artisan pure with more neroli. To me it is almost unisex. My gf said that it is too feminine to her.

CristoCologne

Citrus, floral, vetiver heavy. Mostly vetiver.. with musk, amber and some salty ambergris is what I get. Not really woody per se, but quite nice nonetheless. Comes on strong and lasts for several hours on my skin.

Very closely resembles Dsquared2 Wood for Him.. fraternal twins maybe..

suriyaj

The smell is good. It lasts for a good 3 hrs. Projects for the first 30 minutes then if sits closer to the skin. Nothing like neroli Portofino. NP is smoother and has a beautiful aura but WN becomes soapy after a while. Also recent price changes of Bvlgari is so irritatingly expensive in retail that I won't purchase anything from them again.

leroystanks

This has Alberto Morillas written all over it. Initially smells like any other neroli fragrance, dries down to what could have been an Acqua di Gio flanker, so it strangely feels redundant in my collection. Certainly not a bad scent at all, but it doesn’t stand out and I don’t know how often I’ll reach for it. It was a good deal at TJ Maxx though, so no hard feelings I suppose.

coolio17

I was really stuck between giving this perfume a "like" and an "ok", so I waited out to try it again in a warm day in Spring, which suits it better and it's just an average "ok". The sprayer is terrible by the way.

All in all, a very plain and simple fragrance, with no depth or evolving drydown, though admittedly somewhat uplifting for the mood. But uplifting only in the opening where the wood note is not so heavily noticed.

What you get from this is simply Neroli, citrus and wood. It is a masculine smell, because of the heavy wood notes. Not enough florals in it to turn it into a unisex or feminine smell.

This fragrance also reminds me of old people, something a grandfather would wear. It just doesn't feel modern and after multiple attempts, it still didn't give me any particular excitement.

Definitely not bad, but yet outdated and uninteresting. Buy only if you are a fan of Neroli, otherwise look into more modern fragrances.

Parfum Prononcé

Bomb juice and you can get it cheap from online discounters. Best value I’ve come across.
Very happy. I blind bought and I’m pleasantly surprised.

Spicey Pickled Ginger

First off, this sprayer is absolutely wretched. It doesn't spray but rather shoots out like a blast of WD40 - but thankfully doesn't smell like it.

Manly but not macho. Not enough softness or floral to honestly be tried as unisex (your mileage may vary). Bitter citrus and wood. Good for summer, office safe, and women seem to like it.

An easy reach and good value with quality (except for the sprayer).

Candyandy

There are already many reviews of this fragrance that you can use to get some idea if this fragrance will be for you. I will just add two things that I think might be helpful to add/clarify:
1) Neroli in perfumes varies from very floral to very citrusy. Bvlgari Man Wood Neroli has the more citrusy kind but the floral aspect is still definitely present. TF Neroli Portofino comparisons are spot on, it's very similar.
2) Does neroli smell "old"? Some people seem to have the smell of neroli in general with old, grandfatherly men. If that's you, I don't mean to take that away for you, everyone likes their own thing. But if you are unsure whether you will like this, don't be scared by this! I am 24 and very much like this fragrance and many other neroli-based fragrances. Neroli is an awesome, natural smelling, clean, sweetish, citrusy-floral note. Perfect for a white shirt or t-shirt kind of day. It's safe, clean and inviting. Give it a chance! Bvlgari Man Wood Neroli is a good neroli scent with a nice price tag.

websterdaniel

When first applied, I get this wonderful neroli, orange blossoms explosion. A beautiful, powerful note that lasts about 1 hour. Then comes the bergamot boldly behind it. I get the lemony notes, the cedar, musk and amber.

It's truly a beautiful creation, nothing complex, but just a wonderfully made fragrance. It's too bad the longevity isn't there. If this would last for 7 to 12 hours with a good decent dose of 3 hours of projection, say 2 to 3 feet; then Bulgari would sell the heck out of this stuff because it's that good!

ItalianFrags

Amazing fragrance. The best one I’ve got for summer.

imoore

This is a good old Mugler Cologne (2001) revamp, and every luxury leather shop smells like this in Europe very clean neroli heavy and very much unisex. A+

Ryan Li

Why bother layering this with another frags? that like sticking alloys wheel or Apple car play on a Morris Marina.

This bottle reminds me of a yellow bronze Morris Marina :)

On to the fragrances, it has been compared to a particular opening of TF Neroli Portofino which is correct on the opening but not as smooth, maybe after a few more wears I will come to accept it for what it is.
I think this would be great to spray on a handkerchief whenever you have a running nose or want to get a hint of something that could of been?

Overall it a nice perfume nothing to bang on about to be honest. If you got £50 - £70 spare it worth adding to the existing collection.

Nothing new to this, but I like it on a personal note, can be worn on occasion to work and funeral without offending anyone.

TheGuv

I’ve worn this 4 times now and find after 4hrs I’m having to respray. I get a fresh juicy bitter lime from the opening before it dries down to a light woody scent.for an edp if this had more amber and leather notes in the base with the musk to air it out and keep it fluffy and blended it may last longer but it’s a lovely option to the standard blues we are bored of

n3ck0man

First review ever, so bear with me. I totally agree with --> Kelz23. Spot-on review. Matter of fact my wife wants one for herself!. Also, this reminds me of a baby cologne: Nenuco, difference is Nenuco is has more neroli than this one. Wood Neroli turns woody after several minutes. My only complain is this frag becomes a skin scent very quickly. That said, I'll definitely layer it up with 4711 or even Nenuco just for sh*ts and giggles! I'll try it once more in the summer heat and update the review.

Kelz23

Smells amazing! Bright fresh and crisp and turns into a nice woody scent. I bought the Ferrari bright neroli and. I didn’t like it because it was too feminine. But the woody note in this fragrance gives it more masculinity. and this is probably my best blind buy. My wife also loves it and said she would wear it also. And the bottle looks cool

asgeirn

This is a true beauty, head and shoulders above the other Bvlgari 'brothers' (Man, Wood, Glacial etc)

It opens up fresh and beautiful with the neroli and citrusy thangy wangy, but it stays with you all day, and when the evening comes it turns musky and patchouly (at least on my skin), turning to another scent all together but still staying strong and manly.

Hands down one of my all time favourites of all the 100+ fragrances I've smelt so far in my life.

shstew

This one took me a while to go from meh to love. The first two times I had a quick smell on test strips I didn't like it at all. It happened to go on sale for 50% off at Shoppers Drug Mart after Christmas, so I thought I'd give it another try and am I ever glad I did. It's fresh, clean and citrousy and the neroli is beautiful. It's perfect for the office and won't offend anyone. Bvlgari Man Wood Essence on the other hand has gone from like to meh.

a7_mad1991

This has got to have one of the best opening notes in any perfume, ever. Its so REFRESHING. Made me feel like i just drank a tall icy glass of lemonade on a hot summer evening. Instant mood booster, and got some lovely compliments. Longevity and sillage are not groundbreaking, however still good performance. Loved it !

Manuscoronum

A great Neroli summer fragrance. This opens citrusy and floral and fades into a lovely creamy wood!

Strong opening (neroli), then it becomes a little sweet but always very woody and fresh

I'm testing it as a woman and I find it quite lovely, I especially enjoy the woodsy-wet notes. It's a bit too citrus for me, but still a very nice perfume and pretty unisex. Decent projection and longevity, although not spectacular.

Love Neroli and gf loves it on me. The neroli in this have the same longevity as neroli in countless other perfumes. This has a woody base that outlives the neroli which makes it lasts a lot longer than bright neroli, neroli portafino and the likes.

For someone who loves neroli but is bummed out by shitty performance this is a must try. I personally really enjoy this one

Rhaegal

Strong and wonderful opening, then it becomes a little sweet but always very fresh and intense. The predominant note is neroli and the fragrance has a good longevity. I find it very suitable for warm days and for a man aged 30 and over. I will make a gift to myself.

Hmm....Not sure ...maybe it's just my skin, but I don't really good too much neroli or orange blossom.

You know what I get? Modern Ambergris accord. Salty and fresh ambergris (with none of the fecal touches that many seems to think is necessary to make an Ambergris).

strut

Beautiful neroli in the opening, fresh and uplifting, perfect for summer, almost made me to buy it. But then it dries to basic woody sour store scent.

rithacha

I bought this on the spot after one whiff of the topnotes. That was a mistake, because it dries down unremarkably.

But the topnotes! The topnotes are GLORIOUS! To me, it smells like a squeaky-clean neroli, tinged with lime green sappiness. It's an abstraction of neroli, as if brightened and blurred by an instagram filter. It has strong Neroli Portofino vibes. I really enjoy it. This stage lasts 30 minutes on my skin.

But the rest of Wood Neroli's wear (another six hours or so on me) is a total letdown. It dries down to the archetypal basic "freshie" men's cologne, a sharp cedar musk thing, which to me means that you've probably smelled this or something like it before. Not offensive, but not something I want to smell like either.

I will probably give this one or two more tries before parting ways with my bottle.

adnan_n17

Not for someone with few perfumes in his collection. Unique and pretty good. People with a decent perfume collection will love this. citrus, herbal and green

Guitar 2016

It's a linear perfume and very strong. It smells like a barbershop-bath soap. This fragrance hasn't a well balanced composition, There is no harmony between its notes woody and floral, neroli is weak. Bvlgari Man Wood Neroli opens up with like zesty soapy then dry down is musky soapy. This scent is too mature and boring! Don't blind buy it.

Clean, classic, inoffensive, mature, pleasant, subtle... A bit dry, a bit floral... And a bit boring.

AnhBanXoi

really love the drydown on this one , its so sophisticated .. cant stop sniffing my hand , for me its perfect for Spring .

johnny

Hi friends, pls tell me about the sillage/projection of this and its longevity

It just smells like really strong cardamom to me. My nose is stuffed up, but I do get woody bergamot, and lime. However, if you've had this particular Soith Asian sweetmeat that's chock full of cardamon, you'll instantly know it's the same scent. A little sweet, tangy from the cottage cheese, bright from cardamom. It dries down to smell like an incense stick. Not for everyone, for sure. This fragrance is heavily dependent on body chemistry to how you'll wear it.

Onsolis

This is one of my favorites out of my collection. I have TF and they really don’t smell alike in my opinion. To me, it smells nearly identical to the Acqua di Parma Colonia line which is another one of my favorite scents but unfortunately doesn’t last very long. I’m surprised nobody has mentioned their similarity. This actually lasts longer though and has better projection. Definitely my signature scent of the spring/summer. If you like Colonia then you will like this. Very elegant and perfect for any occasion.

Happy Turtle

This - along with Prada L'Homme - is one of the best modern designer work/office scents on the market today. Ultra masculine, fresh with a clean soapy woody vibe. It wasn't my favourite scent at first but it garners IMMENSE compliments. Even after 10+ hours when I can no longer detect it. If you're after something a little more complex with more naturals there are better options in the niche department but for the price this one is definitely worth adding to the arsenal.

jfalconx

Smelled this at an Ulta today

At initial blast it smells zesty punch of citrus in the nostrils and boy is it good! It’s almost like a woodsy/citrus/floral shower gel smell I can’t explain.

However this doesn’t stay around for too long.

The dry down is a love/hate thing

While it has poor performance issues the dry down is f****** beautiful. My grandmother collects orange blossom flowers when our tree starts to produce oranges, weeks later the flowers wilt and dry up and leave behind an amazing jasmine-y green floral fragrance and this fragrance is reminiscent of that. This fragrance very well could be used by men and women it smells very much like a well done unisex fragrance.

Definitely a fragrance no one would hate. Maybe a dumb reach for those cooler weather spring days. Definitely a grab for the upcoming Easter season!

Straight up review.

I was surprised by this. It's not at all what I expected - "Wood Neroli" as a title makes it feel "meh", and deserves a better title.

First spray: you can actually detect all of the notes mentioned. They don't compete, they all stand on their own. Its warm, classic-clean cologne vibe has a charming barber-shop style which might make it very popular.

10 mins in: Sporty incense? Is that possible? The neroli is here slowly wafting in front, but is earthy rather than soapy. There is no sweet or bitter vibe per-se, but there is a boldness that keeps it interesting.

1 hour: the sporty edge still remains, but here is where the neroli title makes a little more sense... the soapy quality finally comes through but remains earthy. The nagarmotha, I think, is what brings forth the incense vibe with the floral and citrus, introducing a welcome oriental/myrrh heart. Quite nice.

3 hours: the earthiness has mellowed out some, allowing the soapy/incense to round out and lose its sharpness. It also warms up at this point, allowing the woodsy base to stand out. Definitely not a skin scent on me, but not offensive or cloying at all. It is a little unusual and fascinating - all ages appropriate. It has plenty of sex appeal, I imagine this would be attractive on women as well. It maintains the barber shop style but is more modern...

I plan to buy this.

Old School Tie

Anyone who wants a shower gel that goes with this perfectly ought to try Yves Rocher Almond-Orange Blossom, like it was made for it...

jswift286

I really wanted to like this. . . I even blind bought it after waiting 6 months for its release. But there is too much in this that's like a clash. Some of the notes, like the Neroli, as so beautiful, but then you're hit with other notes like loud obnoxious teenagers that sharply attack your nose.

I would expect something like this to be an embraceable scent. But the clashing notes are repellent. Feels like Aqua Amara in this way. And, like Aqua Amara, I think this too will be discontinued. Bvlgari always excels with classy, embraceable scents (Original Aqua, Man in Black, White Tea). When they release ones that have these sharp, attacking notes, they don't go far.

The original Wood was much better. It takes you somewhere special when you smell it. Wood Neroli just pushes you away. This may appeal to some people, but it's not a classic Bvlgari.

raiza1990

This was a pleasant surprise for me. I sprayed it today on my husband and it smells gorgeous! Fresh, elegant, mature. I just wanna sniff him all day long! It starts with a powerful neroli that gets softer with time, but it is a pretty linear fragrance.
I imagine a young aristocrat walking around the garden of his palace in a sunny spring day. he has sense of humor, is polite and charming.
Final note: 10/10
Great and unusual male fragrance.
Thumbs up!

asgeirn

Wow... the opening is maybe the best I've ever smelled... and I've had a pretty extensive collection back in the day when I first started collecting (trying to slow down these days...)

The skin scent is also very nice, not like many of the others state, that it turns to something far less appealing.

I like all the stages of this beauty, and the best thing is also that it lasts and lasts, unlike its "brother"; Tom Ford Neroli Portofino.

Bvlgari Man Wood Neroli > TF Neroli Portofino

Koup1472

This took me a few smells to warm up to, even though I love all the notes in this Frangrance, it smells a bit tart at first, this will replace mugler cologne for me because this actually performs moderate projection and longevity.

Jrad655

Love at first smell. Neroli taken in a new, fun adventurous way. Smells like Summer should smell with bright fresh top notes and a lovely wood dry down. It does lean to the feminine side but there's no denying it's pleasing and uplifting accord. Top release of 2019 for sure. Recommended!

ntabassum92

Not sure why this has "MAN" in giant letters stamped on the bottle, because this is completely unisex. The opening is strong on the bergamot, which to me translates as a lemony fragrance - tart lemon. Somehow, it avoids cleaning product smell. It's a barely sweet neroli fragrance - super fresh. There is a backbone of woods here, sharp and perhaps more masculine than feminine. I think it's a good choice for summer, but it's missing some magic factor that other neroli fragrances have - can't put my finger on it, but the "wow" is not here. Refreshing for a hot day, though!

ghonakafa

Spicy woody something like that. It is safe yet good for the day. The neroli totally killing it. It's strong in the opening but the dry down could make you relax. Loving it.

MacGuffin

I still prefer Ferrari Bright Neroli and even Fleur D'Oranger by Jo Malone+Zara when it comes to neroli-powered scents. Tom Ford' Neroli Portofino is okay. But this one will turn easily into a skin scent and the wood flavor is even hard to trace within the first 2 hours of spraying. The good part of this is the overall bottle design. It looks so friggin gorgeous on your shelf.

If you live in Australia, you have smelt this already.
Aeroguard!!!

I think it even keeps the mozzies away.

Kev77

This cologne has a wonderful scent. It's woody and a bit sweet with some citrus hints. However, it does not last on my skin. After one hour in around 27c the scent on my wrists was gone and the sillage was negligible. I had a tester and would buy the full bottle only if the performance were acceptable.

Old School Tie

The predecessor to this, Wood Essence, had a great looking bottle and I had hoped to like the contents, sadly, I did not. It was not because it was a bad perfume, just that it was so 1990s, very Eternity for Men. Been there, done that. This version though, with its neroli opening, soapy cleaness cut with woods and musk harks back more to the 1980s. It is pretty pungent and one spray on the back of my hand was projecting like crazy, which is again in keeping with the 1980s vibe. I understand that a younger audience might not go for this as it is pretty far from the typical Millennial scents so popular today, but for anyone who wants to smell very, well, Wall Street, this might be your thing. Much better than the other one, an equally beguiling bottle and heavily discounted from what I can see. Masculine, formal, conservative.
EDIT: 16 hours after application having slept and showered there is a detectable amber and musk scent on the back of my hand with momentary hints of neroli. So, it lasts on skin. On fabric it still smells pretty strong after 24 hours or more.
EDIT: Ok, so the test card still smelled so great after a week or so in my coat pocket I pulled the trigger on a big bottle in a discount place. Indeed, it was the only one they had in stock and pretty cheap. I shall try it out this spring when it will go head to head with AdP Ginepro, TdH Vetiver and the last few drops of my Cerrutti 1881.

livio.marucci

A great cologne only stronger...
It feels clean, smart, sexy and fresh...
What else I could ask in a perfume?

AMajeedQT

A decent smell of citrusy herbs (neroli) & woods.

Nothing outstanding. Safe & inoffensive.

Calling it "decent" is quite accurate.

"Like" & pass.

foreignshores

It's so good. As long as you don't overthink it. I get hints of Creed Neroli Savauge, a little bit of Mugler Cologne, all on a backdrop of the o.g. CK Eternity. It's like a greatest hits album of freshness. Could be my next everyday dumb reach.

Baggioka

very pleasant safe scent, I just wish it lasts longer (about 4 hours on me).

DR1989

This fragrance is so cool. Smells totally different to other perfumes I own. Like a summary version of the wood essence, but the flowery notes are so unique to me in a man's perfume. Really like it.

logan.ledferd

Daaaang!! I know this is mostly a summer scent but screw it... it smells really refreshing and the performance on this one is very good. Had to buy it at Macy's cause I could not find a better deal at the moment but this and Azzaro Chrome Aqua are my favorite 2019 releases hands down.

The opening just smells really good and the dry down is decent. I definitely prefer this over Man Wood Essence by a long shot.

u46esp

Opening is smooth citrus with little bit of floral / honey touch, IMHO similar to Issey Miyake's LDpH but much more well - rounded. The floral note continued to carried itself a bit longer than citrus and mix itself well with the woody / warm base.

Above average performance like 4-5 hrs on skin. I sprayed on my hair in the morning and during lunch the sweat mixed with my hair and still gives off a nice whiff.

Works best on slightly cool summer day, preferably 80F (25C). I tried when the weather outside is 95+ (33C) and it's just too annoying to my nose, even when I stayed in air conditioned office almost all the time.

j_choi1224

I just bought this today on post. I dont know if it smells like tom ford neroli portofino because the only tom ford I've ever owned is the pour Homme cause I like how it smells like discontinued escada and then I received tom ford noir as a gift and that to me smelled like prada amber intense which i already own. But anyways back to what this reminds me of. It reminds me of john varvatos artisan the one with the brown basket weave. A fuller version maybe creamier might be the word. I like it a lot it smells like clean fresh laundry on the countryside.

dodi-fischer

Opening is very similar to Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino. Refreshing, clean, bright neroli with citruses.

The drydown is also very good, and I get: slightly warm musk, a bit amber and soft woods with the neroli still being there, but toned down. Smooth warm neroli.

Great release from Bvlgari, great fresh clean cut scent for warmer seasons. Has a bit of a professional vibe to it.

8.25 / 10.

TobaccoOudBoi

Very sexy fresh scent, if you enjoy the Neroli Portofino style, you'll like this one too, though this one is a little more refined may be? Far less generic than the original, Wood Essence.

Koup1472

I have only tested this a few times and not on skin. I really do want to purchase this fragrance when the price comes down a little. I really enjoy neroli fresh scents, this one has a nice woods twist on it and i give them credit for not releasing another blue fragrance that seems to be all the rage. When this comes down to around $50.00 this will be a no brained for me.

ong

I tested it many times either full wearing or on tester strip but end up very disappointed/imop.The top note was the part I really appriciated 'cause its reminded me 4711 cologne but softer and less spice.I thought I must have it 'cause this is a 4711 in edp version so I dont have to reapply often.Anyway after an hour or less its turned my beautiful 4711 cologne into almost sickening rotting 4711 cologne smell untill the drydown. What I can smell was a kind of rotting jasmin or neroli through out its life.A pass for me so try before you buy.

soned

@jman2k, albkelly99 mentioned the cool water vibe too, several reviews below. So, I guess it’s real!!!!.

jman2k

A bright and fresh opening reminiscent of the many neroli based colognes with lots of citrus and woody notes. The drydown? Meh, at best, very heavy and very, but very reminiscent of Davidoff's Cool Water. I'm surprised nobody mentioned this before in the other comments, being DCW so well known, but regretfully, so outdated. Could have been a masterpiece, like many other neroli based frags out there but ended pretty 90s and in a bad sense..
Strange formulation, coming from Alberto Morillas.

vittorio_michaelli

First 2 minutes it really smells like Neroli Portofino, but after that it's 95% similar to Avon Life Colors for Him - don't trust me, try it yourself!

tandem_4x4

Seems TF Neroli Portofino does let perfume brands to sleep calmly in the night.

While I like Neroli Woods, it is still very similar to Neroli Portofino. It is cheaper though, but not cheaper than Ferrari Bright Neroli.

albkelly99

the ambergris ruins this. it gives this frag a totally unwanted 80s cool water vibe that overshadows the cologney top notes and even the woody base.
what a mess

seldomseen

Wood Neroli is a lovely scent. The wonderful light, and airy blend of Bergamot, neroli, orange blossom, white musk, woody notes, et cetera. Make Wood Neroli an elegant, sexy, and classy "dumb reach" for summer, and warm spring, or warm early fall wear. Whenever you want to smell good, feel good, and make a positive impression to those around you!

Wood Neroli isn't an orange/neroli bomb like some of the other neroli/orange colognes on the market. After the first 30+ minutes, the neroli/orange notes take a more regressive stand while remaining noticeable throughout the lifespan of the wearing. Allowing all the other wonderful notes to take shape creating a light and airy blend of wood notes, green notes, and musk notes that develop into a classy fragrance. That may remind you of Beach Hut Man by Amouage.

Performance/Projection/Longevity: 6.5/10
Scent: 8.75/10

jozemo

A nice straight forward neroli based wood fragrance, it's nothing special, but it's stronger than the TF neroli portofino, based on a side by side comparison in store, this one focus more on the musk amber side in the dry down stage, so this can be worn beyond the summer in my option, the longevity is temporary, so if looking for a high performing citrus based scent, you might want to keep searching, overall performance on skin is 4 hours before fade out into awoodsy musk tone of the scent, it is a office safe type of scent, a day time doing the chores and comfort after a shower type of fragrance to me,I like it better than the previous flanker, is it blind buy worthy that's debatable , but overall it is a good effort by this designer.

mauryji

although the shop assistant was chasing me around very motivated with another unperturbed success i continued on my way towards the cashier with this in the hands - ahhh how well i did

Coffee King

I had such high hope for this, and was so excited to try it. The opening is beautiful, so zesty and fresh, I love bergamot and enjoy neroli. The opening, fantastic. If I'm honest, once the zing went, so did my interest, I found the base very musky, in a sort of old wardrobe musk, not even soapy, just a bit flat. I see lots of base notes listed, but all I got was musk, maybe this would be one to try next year during the Summer. I hate to say it, I found it boring.

dcjimr

Sprayed this on at Macy's today and I really liked the top notes but the dry down did not work well on my skin. The musk and wood was waaaay too strong on me and I had to go to the bathroom to wash it off.

C_Joel94

This is a masterpiece. The smell is very clean, fresh and uplifting. Very good performance considering the fresh notes are a lot more volatile and stick for fewer time to your skin.

I got between 5-6 hours in performance, after that it will stay very close to skin.

This was the 2nd day I used it and so far I've received 8 compliments on how good I smelled.I am a young business professional and this is, to my opinion, the best release of this house and among the best of Alberto Morillas 2019 releases.

It is in the same smell family of Tom Ford Neroli Portofino or Mandarino de Amalfio but its by NO means the same. I personally prefer this one as it feels more modern and wearable.

Jieky

Very nice, unisex indeed. It’s a nice one if you don’t want to spend two times the price for Alberto Morillas own brand Mizensir. His White Neroli is even better.

stickaforkinit

this is what it says on the tin. Neroli + wood. strong and well rounded neroli.

TrephineArtist

Wow, this is quite different to what I was expecting from Bvlgari (in a good way) even if it's not really something I'd be looking to wear myself (or is it??).

A previous review mentioned 'old women' in reference to this scent and I can see where that's coming from. However to put it in a less negative context Wood Neroli recalls certain scents from a bygone era, an era when 'young women' (and even some men) would've worn something similar. I believe it's the neroli which is responsible for this.

There is a certain elegance and even a slightly intoxicating swagger to this fragrance, like sexual tension creeping into a very formal occasion, it's nice & clean but with a naughty underbelly, I wonder if there's some jasmine or hedione in this...

The longer I wore this one the more I liked it. Still unsure if it's my kind of thing but it certainly made an impression.

Unisex for sure.

Edit: Just realised Alberto Morillas was the nose for this, how does the guy produce so many scents? Has he been cloned?!! Wow.

K-man of finland

I think this is a very good release from Bvlgari.
The start is neroli and just clean and ”right out of shower”.
My girlfriend says it smells like a old women, but in the other hand she is not into summer fragranses at all. This is old women and aqua amara smells like piss, according to her:D
After about 5h this turns into a very easy ,safe, modern scent.

La grande bellezza

I was really looking forward to the release Bvlgari Man Wood Neroli...
...but finally..
Bvlgari Man Wood Neroli smells like hint of Mugler Cologne + hint of Carven L'eau Intense on the designer poor base. [I know MC & CLI are designers but juices in them are niche level.
Sweet touch in Wood Neroli reminds me Carven, but L'eau Intense is next level of blend - niche level, with masterclass mixture of: Mint, Grapefruit, Birch, Ginger, Levander, Lemon,Cedar&Ambery Woods, Moss, Cardamom by master Francis Kurkdjian.
Here in Bvlgari Man Wood Neroli splits two different profiles, and that disturbs me. It's like cat with dog's head.
For me unfortunately disappointment, because i was expect after all reviews something more on the Mugler Cologne & Neroli Portofino side. Something more fresher and less sweet.
On the other side, Bvlgari Man Wood Neroli is much better flanker than Bvlgari Wood Essence

Unmodernize

Smelled today, 100 times better than Wood essence. No similarities, it could be a original e release.

Reminiscent of Mugler Cologne, maybe not a surprise. But this feels richer and deeper.

This is a zesty citrusy fresh opening. Modern, not unique but very well balanced.

Very well done by Morillas once again. This and Guilty Cologne is rocking it in 2019.

(Will edit for drydown and longevity)

yann33

Nice , but nothing groundbreaking.this IS a scent if pure bar of soap. Very appropriate for office environnement

Steve_72

not for me.
Reminds me of estee lauder pleasures for men from about 15 years ago

TRAPSTER

Had a chance to really get my nose around this one....oh boy. What a masterfully blended summer fragrance......heck an anytime fragrance. Absolutely signature scent worthy. Thought perhaps there would be a few similarities to its predecessor Wood Essence but not at all. Invigorating and long lasting Bvlgari has really outdone themselves with Wood Neroli. I easily get 6-7 hours of scent cloud on my skin and 10-12 of great projection if applied to clothing Fresh clean citrusy neroli.....nothing absolutely different or game changing but so very well done.

Abilolado_2019

I tested Wood of Bvlgari in a shopping center in Londres. In this day, the cold sold be to day and rain for all day.
I sprayed the perfume and stay the essence trip in my world. I confess that this perfume open with a long and desalt forest, with much cipreste and tree, the cedro and the green plants around my nose, take me along a infinity trip to Madagascar.
Bvlgari Man Wood remind me a reset and start button of control, i nice guess, because when i stay with my brothers in a farm, this scent remind wood pie and a wood sandwich.
To who like smell of cedro, wood, green vile and ocean in your best side for me, take this perfume and put in a bag of trip, because they do when never say goodbye.
