Hello,

When I boot my SPV e100 (tanager), first I get an Orange Logo and a
sunset, then a Microsoft Smartphone 2002 screen, and after 9-10 sec.
(before the main screen is called), the SPV starts vibrating -and
never stops. Nothing can't end it. I've tried a hard reset, it worked
once only. Now I just played with the profiles, and it stopped, but
it will prolly happen again ! Did I miss sthg in the manual ? There
is also a status indicator that I can't find in the manual, it looks
like a film roll (two circles connected by a line, the left circle is
filled).

Any idea ?

vibrating non-stop on start-up = faulty phone. Send it back.

Film reel = tape reel = voicemail. Listen to it and wait until the icon
disappears or you'll be stuck with it until your next voicemail.

My SPV also vibrates during boot up, but for only a short period of time.
Why yours does so constantly, I do not know.

This is the voicemail indicator - meant to look like a tape spool. If the
left hand spool is filled, you have a voicemail on line 1, the right then
you have on on line 2 - both - gets a bit obvious now so I'll stop......

If you haven't actually got any voicemails, then you may need contact Orange
customer services and ask them to reset your voicemail indicator - it's a
"known problem" but appears to be with the network and not the SPV/E100

HTH (a little)

I guess I have a faulty phone + faulty network, since there is
positively no voicemail.

If you set your profile to vibrate & ring, this will cause the problem you
stated.

Change your profile to something else and turn your phone off and on.

Another stupid bug!
